Always buy sd cards from Amazon and the official brands like sandisk...anything else shouldn't be trusted.

Thats because you were sold a fake sd card that had software on it to make it show up as more storage then it really had.where did you get your card??
I had a 64gb card i put in a cheap android phone, it formated it, ended up getting rid of it couple of days later, then when I put it in my honor 6X it formatted it again but only showed 500mb
the card was one I got from China
tried every card formatting software out and couldn't get it to fix the card

I got my card and phone at best buy. .no bootleg shyt
no, sorry should have been more clear , I had the card in another phone prior to the cheap one and all the storage was there. Even now I'm using a 32gb Chinese card in my Honor no problem, have one in my fire tablet no issue
I do think that the cheaper brand of the card had something to do with it tho
