He might have a legit chance with magic johnson being part of the ownership group. I don’t know that Bienemy beats out Johnson in a head to head.

Do we entertain Bienemy as the OC if he doesn’t win that HC job in Washington or someplace else?

I don't think anyone hires EB except the Chiefs. Not saying it's right but clearly players don't like him and the media has been stabbing him for months. It's like an agenda to kill this man's reputation. Washington started hot on offense but faded as more tape got out on Sam Howell. That's a QB issue, not an offense issue but we know how black men get treated in this shyt. Meanwhile KC looks like trash without him...

IMO Glenn would be a better coach than coordinator. He's been incredibly unlucky here, never really having the guys needed to run his scheme. Washington has some speed in the secondary, elite DT, just needs to replace the pass rushers they traded away. Personally if I was Washington I'd only hire an offensive mind though, since they are likely drafting a QB at #2.

I agree that black men get slander through this process but they rarely get heat from the players. There may be legitimate concerns about his personality. He could be a talented Matt Patricia.

I agree they should go OC in Washington. As for us, I’m curious to see what type of coordinator we can draw here if we don’t stay in house. I feel like we’d be a preferred destination for another guy to catapult himself to success.

I bet it'll be Tanner Engstrand, the current passing game coordinator, or Scott Montgomery the RB coach/assistant head coach. So an in-house promotion, and I'd imagine Dan Campbell will have a heavy hand in things as well. I'm fine with that. If Glenn leaves though I hope we look outside the org for someone. We have some pieces here for an elite defensive unit and I hope we can get an established play caller with some cache. Too bad Wink Martindale is going back to the Giants, I would have loved him here. Basically somebody who values pass rush and a violent d-line.

I know 2 people said they're going to be wearing Stafford Lions jersey. Is it that hard to let go of Stafford? :dahell:
Why should they let go of him? There's no hard feelings between Stafford and the Lions or their fans. He's probably always going to be somewhat of a celebrated figure in Michigan.

TBH I sometimes still wish he got to experience the other side of what he went through here. Goff kinda just stepped in and after a season and a half he got that.

I'll never understand it. He didn't do shyt here. I don't dislike him, but he wasn't some legendary player that elevated the team. He was an above average QB with a big arm that took a lot of risk. People celebrate him more than Barry and Calvin in some circles and it's ridiculous to me

There was a QB quality drought. He ended it. Even when he left he unknowingly gifted the franchise and help elevate them to the status they're at now with the haul they got for him.

Did I mention how much a leader of men Aaron Glenn is:obama:

It sounds funny but I could see him being a good head coach. Probably a lot like Dan Campbell. He's incredibly engaging to listen to and seems very likable. Could see guys ready to run through a wall for him and establishing a quality culture somewhere.

Campbell sounded pretty pessimistic about James Houston and Kalif Raymond today. He said Jamo should be ready to go.

Game wise as long as we aren't running idiotic, slow runs up the middle we'll be fine IMO. This should be a game where Gibbs goes off, and the Rams' secondary is worse than ours. If we don't see the playbook get aired out I'm really gonna have a problem.

I could too. I was only partially joking because I want a different defensive coordinator, but I can certainly see Glenn being a pretty good head coach. That position is more about leadership than being an X's and O's specialist imo anyway.
