Even if that's a joke there seems to be this group that thinks Russell's best position is 2 but he's definitely a 1 and he would be damn near useless at 2 unless he's taking the ball up as a 2

Which is why I wanna run a Clarkson/Russel back court and see what it looks like. Before we bring in the Super Saiyan 3 version of Clarkson

That was never his game. Even at OSU, even though he played the 2 (which was a personnel decision based on height) he always was more of a pass first guy that needed to organize the offense and set up plays. At the 2, rather than Brandon Roy, think OKC James Harden

I'd rather not disrespek the nikka by comparing him to Harden but honestly that's also who I had in mind for him. I just think he'd be more lethal as a passing 2 and we put more of a dynamic scorer at the 1.

Nah he could already do all that shyt. He was a better drive and distribute guy than Russ most nights.
