I don't buy the "rich man's Odom" talk. Odom had way more shake to his game, longer arms and was a better shooter even going back to his Rhode Island days.

He did and was a better teammate. Simmons has that will and want that Odom lacked

I'm not that big on Simmons game, I think he has high potential but also a lot of bust potential

Simmons has little or zero bust potential fam unless he has injury problems of course.

At the very least he could be Nic batum or Boris Diaw. With that size and his passing ability and athleticism he'll find SOMEWHERE in the league to fit in.

I get that about Diaw or Batum being #1 or Deng being #2 but I think the chances of him going the length of his career without developing his shot is pretty low and I'm willing to take those chances if I'm the GM

I feel the same way about Ingram and his physique and with us having the 2nd pick we're going to get a quality player either way because they're both good so I'm happy
