Despite being a big fan of that Darkside "Psychic" album that came out a couple years back, I never really followed that up by checking out more Nicholas Jaar material.

His newest one "Sirens" leaked though and I downloaded it this morning on a whim. Its pretty nice. I might check out more of his back catalog.

I spent a lot of time with that Bon Iver album this weekend. So damn good.

I find that when he sings in his falsetto and has a drum driven track, he makes pretty much my favorite music on Earth. Even outdoing the god Kevin Parker.

I'm not as big into his folk-ier stuff where he sings in his normal voice, but his songwriting still carries those tracks

Solid 9/10 with at least 3 of the best songs of the year
