I loved this movie and really was impressed/surprised with how they decided to end things.

Yup. definitely makes their work harder for the next one tho. I don't envy the next Bond or the producers and writers

Also, bring Cary back to direct
Cary Fukunaga did an amazing job directing this movie (especially the action set pieces that were phenomenal) and now has me really excited to see whatever he does next while also hoping they let him be the guy to usher in the new era of Bond.

Nope. They said this is its own story. The next James Bond will be James Bond with a brand new continuity. Not sure how they’re going to figure out who stays and who goes but there’s precedent for it
Desmond Llewelyn played Q through Connery, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan.
And Judi Dench was M with Brosnan and Graig.
So any characters/actors can be brought into new continuity because its always been done that way.

yup. And I’d be okay with that. And so would you. But fandom now isn’t like that. Audiences aren’t like that. They’d have so many questions and I can see how it becomes a cluster cuss

This movie felt like 2 different movies slapped into 1. The half (up to the submarine scene) was 10/10. The 2nd half was 7.75.

The movie itself should have been titled "The French Connection".

It looks like Craig saga is really a bookend series. Where it's the beginning of Bond and the end of Bond. So Casino Royale to Skyfall (part 1), all the other Bond movies (part 2), then the last 2 or 3 movies (part 3). Now the James Bond of the last 50 years is over. It can go in 4 different directions. They did a hell of a job setting up the spinoffs.

Wouldn’t bet on them spin-offs. Barbara broccoli is pretty firm on that being a no. But maybe Bezos has ways of making her think differently lol

Movie was beautiful brehs :mjcry:

Side note : ana de armas fine as fukk :whew:

lashana lynch So beautiful too and body :noah:
Lashana’s skin was absolutely glowing in the club. :ohlawd:

The cinematography and sets during that particular scene felt immersive to the point where I could almost feel the heat.
