Worth every penny.
I really enjoyed the movie. I know this was Craig’s last time as Bond but wish his Bond would’ve had a happy ending. Got sad about that.
Bond getting off that island and having to live with that Anti-Swann nanotech would’ve been a far, far crueler way to go. In this particular situation, I think his death is the happiest ending he could have gotten and in line with everything that transpired in his tenure. Bond has been face-to-face with mortality for the longest now. He finally accepts death, protected his family like a father would, and ends up saving the world in the process.
Yup. All the time. From Russia with love, goldfinger, casino Royale. List goes on. John Barry did that all the time. It’s a staple of the seriesHave they ever weaved the title sequence music into the actual film like they did with Billie Eilish's song. I'm not complaining, I think the song is incredible but I don't remember them ever doing that before for any other title sequence theme. I think Fukunaga's direction was the best of the entire Bond series (any bond film).
Interesting. I guess I just never noticed it before. Man this movie made me sad tbh. I think it was a great ending but fukk, what a heartbreaker.Yup. All the time. From Russia with love, goldfinger, casino Royale. List goes on. John Barry did that all the time. It’s a staple of the series
And Rami Malek killed it as Safin
But then the series would play into the fan theory of the code name. Which they’ve never abided by. Up until Daniel, James Bond was one timeline with one cat. Daniel’s bond was the first break in the timeline and reboot, who is now his own separate closed loop timelineThere’s a scene at the end where James Bond does the legendary side angle shot like they do in the intro title vs a henchman
I always thought it would be cool if the next 007 they showed all the previous ones in a line up like on a giant screen like it would show pierce Brosnan is retired…Daniel Craig’s picture in the show that he’s deceased…etc
