Never thought I would say this. But we should sign Matt Flynn. I'll take Flynn over Weeden any day. Weeden is a bum who doesn't belong in the league. Neither does Flynn, but at least he can fling the football. Honestly I wish we could sign Mike Vick. Put him behind this offensive line, I think he'd do damage.

All we need to do is hope Julio gets the flu, or oversleeps and misses the entire game..
Julio played last week and they were down by 10pts before the Giants choked again

They are a one dimensional team even when healthy and their defense is pretty average at best. Still. Weeden will have to prove he can move the ball in the air early. If he can't, well....Julio played last week and they were down by 10pts before the Giants choked again

Our defense right now.
6th in points allowed per game
3rd in yards allowed per game
1st in run defense
10th in pass defense (which would be better if we didn't allow many garbage yards at the end of the Eagles game)
3rd in yards per play (underrated stat)
Update, we are now 8th in pass defense after MNF. This week will be a big test. Romo placed on IR to return list. Can't practice for 6 weeks and is eligible to play vs Miami. I don't think he'll play Miami to be honest. That game plus a quick turnaround for t-giving.

If he can hit receivers early and often then i'll feel real good about their chances, if he looks like he did against ARI then they'll be lucky if they can get to 13pts.
I can't get over the Weeden/Arizona game last year and that was with Dez & Murray. We got to see how he looks this week before we can predict anything. Our defense is good, but they're not Ravens '00 good. We're still going to need the offense to score 17-20 points. I'm not even confident Weeden can score 10 pts.
Gonna go with the same approach as I did here. I'll wait to over react 'til half time.I might be the only one not concerned. Those last two drives, and many other drives went well without Dez. (If anything Romo doesn't get to force passes to him these next few weeks) He is a pivotal part of our offense, but our dominance doesn't solely rely on him. Too much over reaction in here brehs, let's wait to over react 'til half time.

I thought about that too, but remember that Cardinals defense was one of the tops in the league. He only put up 10 points in that game (albeit one td was in garbage time, but we also got a FG blocked).
These next 7 games, only tough defenses I am seeing is Seattle. The rest, he should be able to score at least 20 points. And dont sleep on our defense. We can create turnovers and make it easier to score.
I would much rather have Kyle Orton, Matt Flynn, Michael Vick, Josh Johnson, or Josh Freeman starting than Weeden.

Well it was against Arizona though. That defense made everyone look bad. They were 9-1 at one point.

...for no other reason than on sunday when aikman and buck were getting on him for not warming up he aws just sitting on the bench like 
and came in and threw the back breaking touchdown pass...
Teams are going to dare him to throw so he is going to see a TON of man coverage...any qb in the nfl should be able to have success against man coverage
