In 1981, Brown's mother was approached by journalist Pete Dexter for a profile on her son and all she would say was, "He's the only one I got. Things are right between us now and I wouldn't say nothin' to upset that."

Older, or even similar-aged, women never held any appeal for Brown as sexual partners. In Out of Bounds, the fifty-three- year-old Brown talked about his romantic preferences: "Physically, between a young girl and an old one, there is no contest. ...

Never forget Jim Brown threw his wife out a window

The man beat up Black women all his life yet...it's shocking he'll side with Trump

Elridge Cleaver raped Black women, lusted after White women...he became a Republican

Lol come on man, if a man can't have common decency towards the women in your race...what makes you think he is for your race

And what has Jin Brown actually done besides take a picture and do some charity type shyt

And talk shyt about other Black athletes about being role models while he went to jail for spousal abuse

Come on man

While you ultimately can't blame anybody else for your c00ning, I'll be damn if you can rely on the black community for support if you stick your damn neck out.

Tariq did get support for Hidden Colors, but A LOT of nikkas was beefin' about that. I'm not pro or anti-Tariq, but what WILL we put our dollars behind, then????

I read MULTIPLE people on here AND FB say some variation of, 'fukk that shyt! He had better manage his money!" when someone suggested we support Kaep and Eric financially.

We want motherfukkers to risk life, limb and livelihood, but give nikkas the stink eye when asked to donate. :deadmanny:
Funny u mention HC & Tariq, how much did Jim make off that? & was residuals checks giving?

I thought yall already knew about Jim Brown. :mjlol:He got lumped into that civil rights era and rode the wave for a couple decades. :russ:

Breh thats cause he was outspoken and involved in activism.

From starting the black economic union (helping start black businesses in poor black communities) to later his AmerIcan organization helping get brothas out of LA gangs and calling truces in gang infected areas.

From the 60s to the 90s dude put in work as an athlete/activitst.

We can be disappointed in what he is doing today, but lets not re-write history in terms of his activism in the past.

If Kareem and Russel were tap dancing today. I wouldn't wipe clean the history of them being athletes/activist for decades.

Side note......little known fact was that Kareem and Jim were on the FBI watch list due to their association with the NOI.

Jim Brown's been like this for a minute and Tariq still put him in Hidden Colors, knowing that Jim was talking like this.

Tariq's habit of choosing celebrity over standing on purpose is the damaging mark on his legacy.

/Thread.

Also same clowns won't even take off from work or got the balls to boycott for a week. But clown asses expect some famous folks to throw their careers away.

I said before my family lived this shyt and never let me forget. They were in the civil rights movement so many of these ungrateful clowns on the internet can have the very rights they enjoy today.

The only reason famous black folks pitched in during that era was because they saw regular black folks sacrifice. Plus the regular black folks backed them up with support (financially as well) if they took a stand.

You cant even get these clowns now a days to even to support folks like kap and etc. Outside of a bull shyt tweet on twitter...:francis:.

I said before when abdul rauf and craig Hodges lost everything and no black folks joined in to help them that was a missed opportunity for the next generation.

Kap and the rest will be a lost opportunity as well:francis: for this generation.

Honestly, I cant blame him. Being pro Black is lonely as shyt. Almost no one is pro Black. They just pro Black for their asses but not the collective. Jim done put in more work than all of us combined but hes been defeated. We gotta be honest about it to. This ain't Jesse Lee c00n ass. This is Jim Brown. He was right there with Ali in terms of racial pride now he is c00ning it up on Fox and Friends
What happened to this man, he was an activist

This is some c00nye shyt :mindblown:

This isn't some shyt you just switch sides on one day.. especially from his era
@#1 pick closer to the truth than most would believe :francis:

For brehs that aren't familiar with the story of arch-conservative Clarence Thomas (current Supreme Court Justice)...the man was once a Black Panther :mjcry:

I'm not even joking, brehs. He really was with the movement - all the way down. Malcolm X was his idol and inspiration. :wow:

Something happened to these men. I don't know what it is. Clarence claimed that it was the effects of affirmative action - that his fellow students at Yale Law School doubted his intellect because he had benefited from the program. I don't really buy that. Something deeper must have been at work to get a former soldier in the movement to flip so completely.

I got no issue with Jim supporting Trump - that's his right. Let's be reality here - Jim is an ex-football player, who played at a time when the sport was as close to a modern gladiator contest as we've ever seen. I'll bet his support is mostly on grounds of Trump at least giving the appearance of strength & old-school masculinity, while the Democrats seem mostly feeble and incompetent these days (case in point: giving Hillary the nomination). Jim, and brehs like him, simply can't relate with the modern Democratic Party :francis:
And if Jim is anti-immigration (like many AADOS) well, who else is he supposed to support? :manny:

But Jim out here denying that racism exists in America...I can't rock with that. :francis:

Somebody in his circle gotta let him know he's fukkin up out here. I'm unwilling to believe he really believes that shyt right now. If he keeps it up, I'm out. For now though, I gotta give him a chance off the strength of his lifetime body of work. :wow:
