however in my opinion the wildest shyt in the mcu to happen so far was Dr. Strange dreamwalking into his variant's dead corpse and turning the souls of the damned into fukking cape to fight the scarlet witch.

Dr. Strange as a movie is full of the wildest fukking shyt i've ever seen in the mcu.

i cannot believe people on twitter were calling it mid bro. so glad i didn't listen to them because this kind of vibe is right up my alley. it's a breath of fresh air for the mcu that i fear they won't ever return to. just full of wacky uncoventional shyt that you wouldn't think you'd see in marvel movies (wanda looking right at the camera and into the audience's soul unprovoked ).

I don't think we will hear anything about the Eternals until Harry Styles pops up somewhere in about 3 years.
One of the producers admitted they were shocked by the bad reviews and said it could be the only Eternals movie they release.
I don't see Angie returning and the rest of them were forgettable and don't really offer anything imo.
Hell, Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) disappeared for the final act of the movie for no real reason and shows up at the end to take in Sprite who just betrayed them all (literally stabbed her best friend in the back).

Kingo agreed with Icarus, he just didn't want to fight about it.

When they all went their seperate ways, Ajax basically told them to go find their purpose and what humanity means for them and we cut right to Kingo shooting a movie, soaking up all the fame and adoration. 6000 years and all he really cherished about humanity was getting his ego stroked and that wasn't enough to fight for.

As for "Eternals 2", I don't think it was ever meant to be one. What they CAN do is make a "Titans" movie about Eros, Thanos, why THEY'RE ORGANIC and 'our' Eternals aren't (I have my theories) and explore just how "cursed with knowledge" Thanos was about the celestials, emergences and how it played in his quest for the stones.

Also, Sprite is human now but she is a storyteller...we getting gods of the greek pantheon on screen now, using Sprite to do Marvel versions of stories like Gilgamesh, Herules, the great flood and all kinds of shyt from mythology and religion would be an AWESOME way to utilize that character.

I think Feige fukked up talking this up like it had Best Picture Oscar potential. Not only is it no where near that kind of movie it also got the critics knives out. If he was more humble on some, "We are trying something new, walk with us." I think the critics would have been more charitable. Not that I think it's great but it is nowhere near as bad as they made it out to be. Definitely has its flaws but conceptually it's the most interesting Marvel joint since IW.

There should be a lot more technological advancement than what we see on earth. Interstellar space flight should be a given. No way would the earths governments not be reverse engineering all the abandoned alien aircraft on the planet. Massive wars breaking out over controlling alien tech?

Also Covid has people questioning their work life balance what would happen after the snap? Peters biggest worry is getting into MIT? Really?

That’s why they need to go ahead and get the Novacorps off the ground. You need some sort of higher interstellar authority after Thanos

Probably the biggest fumble/miss-step with MCU is how they handle all the post blip shyt imo. Especially in Falcon & Winter Soldier. That young chick was a terrorist sure but her ideology and what she was doing is the exact kinda stuff they should have been showing more of. Half the world gone, ofc culture gonna change, everything from immigration and work gonna change quick but then you basically reset 5 years later completely displacing a MASSIVE amount of ppl...ofc there's gonna be war and strife brehs.

Yep. Marvel could make an apocalyptic series that is set within that 5 year space. It would be amazing.
