Look Breh, you’re wrong. Raditz didn’t go up to him and say anything remotely reasonable. If he had shown up and said hey I’m your brother and this is what is going on can you help. Then maybe you would have a point. Instead he told him to kill all the humans to prepare the planet to be colonized and then kidnapped his son.

And when he met nappa he was trying to kill his son. There is no hallmark cards and smiles after an action like that.

When he was growing up there were talking cats, dogs, native Indians, dragons, androids, humans with 3 eyes, talking turtles and a 300 year old human that trains him.

He fits into that world and didn't need to ask, there's weirdness all around him. A tail was relatively normal in comparison.

A demon with green skin, antennae, and pink muscles on the outside of his skin too not to mention a bunch of magic balls that summon a dragon that grants any wish you want. A kid with a tail ain’t even remotely strange in that world. Ed I’m usually on the same side of this debate with you, but this one is a major reach. A strange guy shows up out of nowhere, beats up his friends, kidnaps his kid, tells him “I’m your brother and our race wipes out all life on planets before selling them. You’re supposed to do that so now kill everyone on this planet or I’m taking off with your kid.” & that all happens in about 5 minutes. How strange is it by comparison for his biggest rival to then show up and say “I saw all that shyt happen and we got a problem. I can’t take him alone either so let’s put our problems on hold so we can deal with this guy and then settle our problems.”?


He even tells him straight up his motives are entirely self centered but trains his kid while he’s dead for a year and gets himself killed while protecting said kid. That’s way more reasonable than his brother’s first impression.
