The people in the MCU are fully aware of aliens and shyt now. And if you remember all the way back in the first avengers movie they had a full blown alien invasion that they constantly reference.

I'm sure there were a lot of spouses that were happy their husband or wife disappeared and moved on with their new lives only for it to get interrupted by those people returning
What about the elderly that were being taking care of by their kids and all of a sudden that burden was gone for 5 years
This is the show I want to see by the way
Start with the day before when everyone has moved on and then end the first episode with everyone coming back. Follow 5 or 6 different situations and make it like This Is Us or the Leftovers

Yeah it’s an adult/serious show

it’s on hbo max right now

the first season is pretty slow (I still enjoyed it but many tapped out), but the second season and third really go to another level
