I'm not American but I'd be skeptical about these stats brehs. Whenever these studies come out white people are the tallest, bustiest, most well endowed and happiest there are.

Its because of fatphobia, and with how racism and fatphobia are intertwined. I’ve seen more than a few black women, on TikTok and various other forms of social media, recount their negative experiences at these gyms. These gyms are littered with fatphobes who make disparaging remarks about black women’s bodies. Black female bodies are often unfairly critiqued, abused, and made fun of. The gym is yet another space where these types of things happen. It causes a lot of black women to shy away from even entering a gym. Its really sick. In a perfect world we’d have gyms specifically for black women to act as safe spaces for their bodies. Also, its important to remember that just because a person is obese doesn’t mean that they’re unhealthy, and so, these stats don’t mean much.

Because of centuries of exploitation, white people are the richest people in america. Its no suprise that rich people do better at everything. Whites have access to regular doctor visits, GNC health food stores, personal trainers, jobs with gyms built into them, access to nutritional education, and access to farm produce. They also rarely work two jobs like most minorities must do, meaning they got time/energy to put into fitness. Most black people, hispanic people, and natives dont live like them. Our (non-chinese, non-vietnamese) Asians were also selected to come here based on profffesional quotas meaning they defaulted into a class of people with high income and wealth.


Its all a resource issue, just like all our other American stats. If you were to stratify the data into folks with similar wealth AND similar income then our numbers become much more equal. Poor white people are equally fat to poor black people. Rich black people are equally healthy to rich white people. You just have more poor in the black category skewing the numbers. You are effectively seeing the effects of comparing rich people to poor people, not black vs. white.


Thus, the stats are legitimate and true, but the overall context is lacking.

No idea what that means, but a few ppl here know what i look like and im not fat. Im a petite woman whose weight fluctuates through the seasons (5'2", 125 in the summer- 140 in the winter), giving me anywhere from a DD to an F cup. I havent broken into a full run since 8th grade. Im definitely not jogging down nobodys street.

Its inappropriate, damn near pornographic, and we live around family. Im also not trynna be Ms Parker from Friday. My life motto is "cover your ass" cuz i got a lot going on and im so small that everything seems bigger.
