whites are such hypocrites...they for a long time saw themeselves as every american...
a lot of whites are upset, claiming this post to obama's facebook was a calculated insult to white america.
Dude I get what you're saying but that's the thing, 90% of white folks DO NOT live around black folks. There are entire states like Idaho, Vermont, Montana, Minnesota, Oregon with hardly any black presence, even California which has 90 million people hardly have any blacks. I get what youre saying in terms of kids that live in metropolitans, capitals and bigger cities that are melting pots, but oddly enough, those places have the LEAST amount of racism compared to the rural areas for example. Red Staters have less black on white crime than blue staters. Yet red staters are the MOST racist, they're the ones keeping equality laws passed (see same sex marriage, drug law reductions)
explain that.
Pretty much. It's just ignorance spread from father to son, through the generations. You have to understand the psychology of conservatives is rigid and resistant to change.
Great read and it puts alot of things in perspective
Bestselling author Chris Mooney uses cutting-edge research to explain the psychology behind why today’s Republicans reject reality—it's just part of who they are.
From climate change to evolution, the rejection of mainstream science among Republicans is growing, as is the denial of expert consensus on the economy, American history, foreign policy and much more. Why won't Republicans accept things that most experts agree on? Why are they constantly fighting against the facts?
Science writer Chris Mooney explores brain scans, polls, and psychology experiments to explain why conservatives today believe more wrong things; appear more likely than Democrats to oppose new ideas and less likely to change their beliefs in the face of new facts; and sometimes respond to compelling evidence by doubling down on their current beliefs.
Certain to spark discussion and debate, The Republican Brain also promises to add to the lengthy list of persuasive scientific findings that Republicans reject and deny.
- Goes beyond the standard claims about ignorance or corporate malfeasance to discover the real, scientific reasons why Republicans reject the widely accepted findings of mainstream science, economics, and history—as well as many undeniable policy facts (e.g., there were no “death panels” in the health care bill).
- Explains that the political parties reflect personality traits and psychological needs—with Republicans more wedded to certainty, Democrats to novelty—and this is the root of our divide over reality.
- Written by the author of The Republican War on Science, which was the first and still the most influential book to look at conservative rejection of scientific evidence. But the rejection of science is just the beginning…
It must be our envy of your bigger dikks.he can't and what I've come to the conclusion is that none of them can. Its just pure demonic hate. There is no reason for it

exactly you have nothing of importance to add, we already know its spread from generation to generation. The question is why? What started this hate & you can't answer it.
I explained why racism started. When colonization of the Americas first happened powerful people turned to lower classes against each other so they wouldn't rise up while they were being robbed(i.e: paid peanutes for their workforce).exactly you have nothing of importance to add, we already know its spread from generation to generation. they can try to justify it by going off post 80s era crime, but what was their excuse in the 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.

But you're obviously looking looking for some "white man is the devil" type of admission. You've already made up your mind about it, you won't hear anything else. So why be disingenuous?
Have you a question, friend?
