I remember when I was around them ages, cops would straight abuse my civil rights, but on the other side of that coin I was wearing baggy jeans, sagging them too, rocking huge sweaters and hoodies, at some point I had corn rows, I was high a lot, I was carrying myself to fit the profile.
Once I switched it up, started wearing more fitted clothes ... and an underrated one too was once my vision started fading and I got glasses, never had that problem again anywhere I went. Started carrying myself different, started getting treated with a little more respect in these new york street.

There are people who are old enough to remember lynching and Jim Crow laws. Think about that.
