yet here you are catching feelings over ratings you supposedly don’t care about :russ:

It’s amazing how irony is lost on your markkks
Eric Young needs to be on RAW, too good to still be on NXT
Mr. I Haven’t Watched Since ‘99 with another terrible take :laff:

AEW is stuck between two worlds. The casual fans they can get from TNT and the hardcore who made AEW possible to begin with.

The hardcores like flippy shyt but there's very few guys on the roster who pass the aesthetic test.

They need big, muscled guys who can flip. That's the perfect medium.

And more promos. More storylines. NWA Powerrr gives you more angles in a hour than Dynamite gives you in a month.

AEW will eventually have to mimick WWE in every way to survive

I bet some of yall are more concerned with ratings than Vince and Cody are:pachaha:
Probably, If FOX & TNT are cool with the numbers then there's really nothing to talk about. There was already the report that FOX is happy with SD right now, and that's because they're getting the best ratings they've ever gotten on Fridays.

Lol no they won’t. They can continue to survive doing exactly what they’re doing

Once you nikkas accept that AEW isn’t some savior that’s gonna put WWE away and dig them a grave, and instead is just a fun lil wrestling show with a smaller niche audience and a far superior product, life will be easier.

Idk why people keep bringing up the first week numbers. It's clear both Smackdown and AEW's numbers that week were anomalies due to interest. The second and third-week numbers for both shows are closer to what their real numbers are gonna look like.

We also don't know what AEW's numbers would look like without NXT going against it. I'm not saying all 700K would automatically watch AEW but even 25 percent of that number watching AEW live would benefit them.

In an interview with Screenrant, CM Punk said that he thinks AEW should stop mentioning WWE on their programming and focus on their own product. The last time they did this was on this week’s episode of Dynamite, when Cody mentioned “that other company we came from” to Chris Jericho. Here are highlights:

On AEW talking about WWE: “Yeah. I think AEW needs to focus on themselves and stop talking about WWE. Cody and The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, all those guys have something great going on. I just think it lessens and cheapens what they are doing when they constantly attack WWE. There hasn’t been an alternative to WWE in so very long, and I think they do a disservice to themselves when they’re trying to be the alternative but constantly bring up WWE. But I understand, when people ask you the questions during the interviews you have to answer them. But that’s just part of life. You have to learn how to navigate that. I would like them to just try to focus on their product and building it up and making it better. I think that would benefit all the fans.”

If we're going to keep it 6 more than 94, AEW has been a ratings failure since the first week. If people are as sick and tired of WWE as they claim to be, and are as thirsty for a big pro wrestling alternative as they claim to be...then AEW should be doing no less than 4 to 5 million viewers off rip. Supposedly there's all these wrestling fans out there flapping in the breeze. They don't rock with anything under Vince's umbrella and they're all so desperate for something new and different right? So the question is...where they at? You're hearing every excuse in the book for why they're under performing though. As if pro wrestling is this new television concept and audiences don't know how to respond to it. FOH.

AEW not putting out the huge numbers I mentioned (and not building on those numbers week to week) tells us two things:

1. Ain't no boom period coming. Wrestling isn't hot like it was and never will be.

2. People saw AEW and aren't feeling it like that.

Sorry if you aren't used to hearing people spit that real. If the truth hurts, you ain't living right. Dap me up and tell your mama you love her.

What's so different about AEW?

What separates them so much from WWE?

There's really not that much.

Jackasses like you have your head so far up AEWs ass that you can't even see that

They do exist cause I'm one of them. I'm bout to drop aew and just watch nwa. AEW is unrealistic to the point where I am embarrassed im watching. :scust:

But aew debut is the reason I started watching again. :manny:

NXT got 891,000 the first week of being 2 hours head to head.

Stop trolling.
So their actual debut, two weeks prior, can't be held against them? :hmm:

You already know the epiphany of this thread, which is that the debuts of each show had viewers that were never going to stay, but you go ahead and continue to argue in bad faith.

Ol' "I have an agenda, but swear I really don't" ass clown. And you have the nerve to call someone else a troll, with your Fox News spin.
