Postseason play is matchup dependent, circumstantial. Play can vary wildly from a player year-to-year, series-to-series. Ain’t an active player who hasn’t had a “bad” series, series are a short sample size handful of games.

Unless this is a recurring thing steep playoff production drops it’s not something that should be looked at as a make or break for a signing.
Regular season basketball isn’t real. They’re barely trying and there’s no effort on defense

Denver quit the last month of the regular season and had a losing record on the road and dominated the playoffs

Casual babble
Sabonis is an under sized center that can’t defend or space the floor

Of course he’s going to get exposed in the playoffs when teams are actually game planning and exploiting weakness

Once again, if your argument is look at what someone did in the regular season then you lost

Agreed players even admit they don’t do much scouting in the regular season and barely give a sh1t at times

In the playoffs players are heavily scouted and they take away your strengths.

The playoffs are when you can tell who can really ball

i mean even derrick rose got 3 mill a year for the next two and he hasn't done anything in the nba in a while

If you're an older guy, all you really have to do is not complain and keep off social media to keep getting paid as a "locker room leader". Crazy that Derrick Rose is basically ending his career as a Kevin Ollie type

My biggest issue with the Kings offseason so far is that they didn't do anything to improve their rebounding. They basically brought back the main guys and added Sasha Vezenkov.

Could be worse. Could be the Raptors offseason

  • Lost starting point guard for nothing
  • Did not address their need for shooting other than drafting Gradey dikk
  • Let a 2nd option type (Pascal Siakam) hold them hostage at the draft publicly causing them to have no leverage for trades
  • Kept Thad Young for no reason other than to be a $8 mil emotional supportive bench warmer
  • Overpaid Jakob Poeltl and will still lose a lottery pick (top 6 protected) next year
  • Will presumably lose OG Anunoby next offseason for nothing after Masai fukks up at the trade deadline again
  • Ceiling is at the play-in, they're already close to that first tax apron, and it looks like they're giving Gary Trent Jr $150 mil for next offseason
  • Scottie Barnes already is up for a $200 mil extension next offseason
  • Will be dangerously being close to a luxury tax team despite having nothing to show for it
