also to be able to consistently pass downfield with 7 step drops and shyt, you need excellent pass pro. aint finna happen when each play theres like 9 dudes run blitzing the gaps.

when that shyt happens, teams usually pass short to escape the rush and gain a ton of yard on screen/short pass. kaep just panics in these situation and RBs dont look theyre even running any kind of checkdown route.

this team aint built for a consistent downfield passing attack. this team is a run-first, play-action team that should specialize in controlling the clock and occasionally heaving it deep

you look at best QBs out there and they mostly throw short passes, killing you softly and then go for a big pass once in a while.

i love speed, thats the equalizer, thats the difference between a 5 yard completion or a 90 yard td run. you cant run a down the field offenese with these current wrs. kaep obviously doesnt trust them but they need to stick with running the ball until the help comes back

It may, i`m just personally tired of it.

I think this team is much better suited for a straight up hard nosed offense. That offense line is full of maulers and the league has gone out the way to stop the read option and pistol.

I don't think Moss was faster than Patton and Williams, but I see what you're saying. He lost a lot of his weapons which most assuredly hurts

Couldn't agree more about speed.

Al Davis would have 10 super bowl rings if speed was as important as people thought it was.

I loved the pistol RO last year, but that was last year. It was great catching people off guard last year, but it's already done.

I don't prefer them to do both because then we have no identity. One is a gimmick system and the other has worked since the games been invented. Now I don't want some Mike Singletary offense, but a much more basic offense is better suited for this season.

I`m not saying don't pass the ball, i`m saying lets get back to traditional formations and passing out of them so our run game can actually be effective

boldin is second in the league in 20+ yards receptions only behind deep ball specialist torrey smith and probably the best deep throw QB there is in flacco...boldin brought us TDs literally by taking the ball and shytting on dudes. Ill take this guy over speed dudes any day

Me too, I'd like to see more balance, last year, especially in the post season, it looked like we'd be more balanced. I don't think a team needs to be one or the other to form an identity...you don't need to run like Seattle or pass like the saints only, Indy is showing great balance and it's helpful, especially as the year goes on and you start to run down your rbs

Id say we definitely passed more in the playoffs after the GB game, but it was situational. after GB offense couldnt do crap for first two quarters and we didnt have any choice but to throw it. and when we got close we started running again.

size and hands dont really disappear with age.

and the offense is mind blowin

from colin not lookin like he really wants 2 run like he did last year - 2 the coaches not callin plays 2 his strength or mixin things up

and our run game until past 2 games not bein called .. i just dont get it ..

is it the coachin staff or kaep tryin 2 prove a point he can throw .. why cant we be more creative on the offense n mix it up more .. we got so many diff areas we can go 2 and we bein stubborn with 1 or the other alot of the time

yeah playcalling been ass

with that said, we only lost one game to a team we thought we should win against, and that team is looking pretty good and 4-1 right now. schedule gets much softer down the road.

Indy's success makes me feel less and less bad about that L.

Before I thought they were flyweights but they look like heavyweight contenders
