I totally agree. In both games in Seattle we were taken out of our strength and tried to become a heavily reliant passing team instead of a running team. Seattle has always been susceptible against the run and Frank has made a career of embarrassing them, but for some reason we got away from it. Hopefully when we play in Candlestick (Where Seattle hasn't won since 07, coincidentally) we'll stick to the ground game and wear them out.
I think this last game we were easy to defend because we weren't running the ball and our only other offensive receiving threat was Quan. This next game they'll at least have to respect Manningham in addition to Boldin. If Crabtree is there that'll be an added bonus and if what Harbs says about LMJ is true, that's another weapon out of the backfield that they'll have to possibly contend with IN ADDITION to Frank and the running game.
All that equals Vernon getting one on one coverage against either a safety or Bobby Wagner. Not easy matchups, but matchups he should win.
