Major airport, black political power and upper class, jobs, better universities, cheaper COL, less homicdes
dont they got hella cheap land? :yeshrug:
There 3 major airports right in this region. Theres black political power and upper class in a large portion of this state not just Baltimore. There's mad jobs here too. We got 3 HBCUs in MD and 1 in DC. Cost of living is cheaper in ATL tho. Baltimore is much cheaper than DC tho. We have more homicides but that's like splitting hairs. ATL is far from a walk in the park

Nah bruh you need to seperste bmore from D.C. That's what we are comparing

Murder rate is not splitting hairs especially since Baltimore is in a more densely packed area

Depends...I got friends in High Point, Durham & Greensboro in 3 different industries and they're all trying to leave. I went to school in Greensboro so I know a little bit about the state and NC is a beautiful place, but long term IDK if I can agree with this :patrice:

Greensboro/high point are cool when you're in college but jobs aren't there unless you're in retail, logistics or education
:what:I know it's your hometown but:what:
Bmore has one the highest murder rates in the country. They doing early 90s crack era numbers.

You'd be much better off moving to Chicago tbh.

We are comparing states tho and a good portion of the DC metro is in MD. Baltimore and DC metros are sometimes combined into one becuz they overlap. There's areas right in between the two cities like Laurel and Columbia where black folks are doing great. Columbia ins in Howard Co which is one of the richest in the nation. Maryland is the richest state in the country and has the 4th highest percentage of black residents. I don't even see how this is a comparison. Id take MD over GA any day of the week

I thought the thread was about states but everybody keeps bringing up individual cities. I don't see how its even a debate with MD being the richest state in the country with the 4th highest black population by percentage. PG Co in particular is the richest majority black county in the nation
