So there are areas in Mid-western states where there is NOBODY that are literally giving away land for the freeskies.

Why can't we build a Blacktown? With the best music scene, club scene, holistic, sustainable living, specialized magnet school systems, museums, entertainment, literature, bars and pubs, community sports, colleges...

I know these places are in the middle of nowhere but all major hubs were once the middle of nowhere!

Come on u guys! Within a decade we could have a Lil Blacktown!
I just need some builders, general contractors, some business plans, movie industries...hospitals...

Yea two of my boys are from there, but one of my boys stays on the Eastside of Greensboro past A&T and it's just grimey af out there. He needs to go before he gets caught up in some shyt. My other boy just got married but he's been plotting a move to So FL for a min. My boy who's in Raleigh is from ATL but he's about to get married and they're moving to DC. So much love to the state but long term if you're young and are skilled i don't see the benefit of moving there

There's nothing in Soul City. You can just as easily start from scratch anywhere else.

I don't think we will be successful starting from scratch if we aren't even successful in a lot of places where we are already the majority population.

Naw...If we really wanted to do it right we would hit the great plains. Tons of cheap unclaimed land. If you want to start over you don't build on the south, you start over where you can farm, build your own infrastructure, and start communities without pushback. There is way too much pushback in the south for that to ever happen.

Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Arizona, Utah, Nevada...you're talking about millions of Acres of land that is inhabitable, cheap, and untapped.

Breh you have no dog in this fight. 2 MILLION or more means nothing outside of NYC, LA, Houston or Chicago is a major city to you. And a city like Tampa Bay, for instances which has a NFL, MLB, NHL team is a major city. San Antonio is the 2nd largest city in Texas more populated than Dallas.

I'd argue Black people are too migratory. CA had 4million black ppl at one point, before the all started heading for TX. Black folks should stay where there at if there's already a large or growing black population in their location. There are already enough Black people down here in the South. Why not have large cells in other regions of the US? Especially when we want to travel to other regions, and all the black folks we could interact with already left for the South. Too many Black people looking for the "Next come-up city". Let NYC, LA, Chicago, etc keep their historical Black roots, instead of dipping for the South. We good down here.
