Why are cats disappointed that we're not straight up going to drop them bombs...as far as the scheduling, Congress was supposed to meet today so obviously his speech would be after he received authorization. Unfortunately we all know this stance he's taking is a rare moment and there's no consistency in how the US acts. Hillary would've dropped those things already.

Honestly one of the most disturbing speeches I have ever heard. Trying to use dead children as an excuse to use military action when the reason is anything but the deaths of those children is absolutely low. Getting up there and trying to guilt people into it is highly disturbing behavior, especially when no actual evidence has ever been presented and the rest of the world cannot confirm who committed the crime.

OK now he's going to back track. Sounds like he's begging his base to go along with it even though we clearly are saying no. So Now he's going the Diplomatic route. This is how he should of handled it from the beginning instead of threatening military action. It sounds like to me he could of pulled a reverse psychological on the war mongers since it was the republicans originally criticizing him on handling Syria last year. It was a good speech and I'm glad he scaled it back. I get his point about dictators but we have to be consistent. There are evil rulers all over the world killing people as we speak. Dude he has been staying out of the syrian conflict for two years now while assad killed 100,000s of syrians, while 2 millions more fled. However, how many dictators have used chemical weapons in the world? There is a reason why chemical weapons are considered weapons of mass destruction.

How do you determine 100,000 Syrians? Who was killed...? How many children, men, women, opposition and government? How do you differentiate?
Obama has been supported opposition since he stepped in the door. It's not dictators that have used chemical weapons per say but Governments....
