Nope There is no Smokescreen. He doesn't have the votes in the House or Senate and The American People Democrat, Independent and Republicans are overwhelming against military intervention. So what is Obama suppose to do? He has to scale it back which is why he's "Postponing" the vote. Then Assad will give up his so called "Weapons" and it will be over. I'm just glad he's not going to do an override and bomb them anyway. He seems to have gotten the message. That's why I liked the speech. I can tell he understands we don't want this.

For now atleast. Don't be surprised if Syria somehow violates the agreement in the near future.

These drone strikes have been proven on several occasions to be dropped when targets cannot be fully verified. Also used on first responders to the scene.
