The loan isn't the problem. Wanting education or to further education isn't a negative thing. Whether you're a basket weaver or a biomechanical engineer. The price of "education" is outrageous.
It's the same with cars,
The same with housing.
Hell it's even the same with food.
America as a county has never had a good relationship with money.
There's a reason it's accepted that we work until we either reach the point of retirement then die shortly after or die while still working.
I agree. Until the price of education is fixed or non existent, move smarter, explore your options (Trade Schools, college funds for your children, community college transfer etc.), be financially responsible, and pay your personal debts.
I doubt that costs will be fixed anytime soon though, and absolute loan forgiveness just isn’t happening.
