I’m just calling out the bullshyt and speaking on reality. Student loan forgiveness will disproportionately benefit selfish cacs that are already doing well for themselves. It wouldn’t bother me if it were only the $10k and/or elimination of the interest. It’s a “take it, or leave it” scenario.

Regarding the underlined, that’s great. I’m considering pushing my daughters into Finance (they’re still really young though).

I've always maintained from the beginning that the $50K student loan forgiveness was never going to happen as Biden never said $50K, but $10K instead. Biden said $10K so he should be held accountable on ensuing that the $10K will actually be forgiven. I don't believe that it will though, so it's more than likely going to hurt him and Democrats on the next go around of elections.

The student loan forgiveness success has always been iffy and trash over the years, so I don't blame people for being skeptical about it especially with his track record in making the situation even worse with prior decisions.

More people pay for the city parks, lakes, bike lanes and trails, that they don't use than apply for student loans, and that's every year. 90% of people have never used a city designated bike lane, but they paid for it and they will continue to pay for it every year. Everytime the lines need to be repainted, everytime it needs to be repaved, swept, plowed.

Okay, but I directly benefit from those bike lanes etc. At any time that I feel like it, I can hop on a bike and utilize those lanes. I can go to that park and enjoy it. There’s always the potential/possibility for me to go hike that trail and enjoy nature.


How in the fukk does paying off a professional’s (with already great earning potential) student loans benefit the rest of us? What does paying off an attorney’s, an engineer’s, or an accountant’s loans do for the rest of us? I say this as a professional myself. What about those who chose to fukk off in college or studied Fine Arts?


Please don’t give us the “Bu-but it can stimulate the economy!” like those irritating and entitled Cacs on Reddit. They’re just upset that they can’t go out and buy that new BMW or luxury condo because they are obligated to pay off their student loans first.

It is a an outrageous concept/proposal, and it IS NOT popular at all. Most Americans don’t rock with absolute student loan “forgiveness”, especially with no plan to fix the insane costs of Higher Education.

The loan isn't the problem. Wanting education or to further education isn't a negative thing. Whether you're a basket weaver or a biomechanical engineer. The price of "education" is outrageous.
