The programs ain't a problem.

College is a scam. You can have all the education and certifications in your field and still not get hired. Still make minimum wage, still not get the best wages. And unlike other fukking countries our loans aren't based on our income, if we even are employed. It's just "oh well, you went and they are due!"

College is not the only way to be a success, to be a professional, to obtain knowledge, experience and guidance.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with seeking information, wanting to be educated. It doesn't matter if you are in basket weaving or biomechanical engineering. The problem becomes when they start to put prices on those programs. You know how many good people quit because of price? How many good candidates don't even try?

You already know a black college graduate and a white college graduate coming out of the same school, the same year with the same degree in the same field will not make the same amount of money.

That's not a YOU problem and that's not a ME problem.

College is cool and fun but it's a racket.
nope

sorry fam

you are using technology while calling education a scam. you live in world built and run by educated people. the future is shaped by educated people. and education matters in every facet of life from your doctor to your lawyer to the guys who design the apps and programs and tech you use.

try as you may to convince yourself it's a scam but the proof is all around you that it matters and the most highly educated people in society are also currently having the highest imcomes per home. just because people don't land jobs due to systematic racism doesn't make education a scam. your view seems to hinge on employment defining education being a success. when in reality it's not that simple. the uneducated will always be at the bottom of society and that's a fact. make better decisions on what you spend your money on in education. that's reality

Nothing you said makes college a scam. You’re speaking more towards systemic racism being present in everything

Look at the price of books, hardcover/soft cover and even digital. Tell me how that isn't a scam.

And the 'editions'? A whole fukking scam. My took abornmal psychology, I had the 5th edition or some shyt, the rest of the class had the 6th.
The ONLY thing they did was shuffle the chapters. Like their chapter 3 was my chapter 8 and my chapter 2 was there chapter 5. Same paragraphs, same pictures. Just different order. No new info added, no new pictures. My classmates were heated it was like $215 for their book and like $90 for mine.

Even the teacher was like :lolbron:.

Look at the prices of the same programs within your state and see the descrepancies and then look nationwide.

It's a whole fukking scam.

You're being foolish. I never said education is a scam. I said college is a scam. And it is. You can obtain knowledge and experience and certifications without college.

Motherfukkers built half the apps on your phone without college.

You think college is a synonym for education, you think they are one in the same. They aren't not and never will be. Check yourself.

You pay for shyt you don't benefit from every day.... :dwillhuh: Yall make statements like this and still don't know how taxes work? No wonder we keep getting the shyt end of the stick..... :smh:

It will help nikkas tremendously, but since it may potentially help some white people a lil bit, it's probably a bad idea? :mjlol:

We deserve what we get some times.....

Read the rest of my quotes in this thread. You’ll find the answers to your concerns.

nah you just being obtuse, making broad generalized statements. some colleges are a scam doesn't = college is a scam. if you go to ICDC or Devry type shyt you a mark plain and simple...

taking shyt that has no demand or future doesn't equal college being a scam.

you can obtain knowledge independently and build a career that way but how many people are good at learning independently and actually follow through maybe 1% so you think that should be a goal for most people? seems highly unlikely, never mind the fact that its very few actual careers where you can get by like that. you def can't do that in professions. so you are willing to write off college entirely because there's 1% of careers where it's not necessary. seems very logical and I'm foolish? :skip:

let me know next time you go see a doctor that just had experience and no education cuz it doesn't matter.

cut the bullshyt. if you go pay thousands for a bullshyt degree don't cry about school being a scam. smarten up

Imagine a janitor’s (who never attended college) tax dollars being used to pay for an engineer’s (who makes significantly more) education.
:mjlol:

I could go on, but you get the point.
Imagine paying property taxes yet having no kids :ohhh:. Imagine paying for social security for decades but you can't get disability :ohhh: and the list goes on:francis:

if you read my post from the first one I entered I never said knowledge, education and experience is a scam. Nobody is at fault for wanting that or doing what it takes to get that.

You'll also have to read the responses to others because we've already addressed the things you've said.

There's nothing obtuse about it. Books, credit hours, in class, online, off campus, price discrepancies between in state programs vs out of state for the same thing. It's a scam. Student benefit a lot, but the colleges, like the house in Vegas always benefits more.

Neither do I. Pay your debts that you signed up for as a grown ass individual. That’s what responsible adults do in society.
:yeshrug:

The fukk do the rest of us look like paying for an education that not all of us received nor benefit from financially?

i worked at our university bookstore as an undergrad, and the mark up we'd put on used books...:mjlol:

one quarter the manager tried to pull a retarded stunt to seal all the used books we sold in plastic so once it's opened it's not returnable

Schools like ITT tech, Devry, Baker College, etc etc we’re allow to operate for many years preying on teenagers to take out life changing debt to sell a dream. There’s usury laws for a reason
