nopeThe programs ain't a problem.
College is a scam. You can have all the education and certifications in your field and still not get hired. Still make minimum wage, still not get the best wages. And unlike other fukking countries our loans aren't based on our income, if we even are employed. It's just "oh well, you went and they are due!"
College is not the only way to be a success, to be a professional, to obtain knowledge, experience and guidance.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with seeking information, wanting to be educated. It doesn't matter if you are in basket weaving or biomechanical engineering. The problem becomes when they start to put prices on those programs. You know how many good people quit because of price? How many good candidates don't even try?
You already know a black college graduate and a white college graduate coming out of the same school, the same year with the same degree in the same field will not make the same amount of money.
That's not a YOU problem and that's not a ME problem.
College is cool and fun but it's a racket.
sorry fam
you are using technology while calling education a scam. you live in world built and run by educated people. the future is shaped by educated people. and education matters in every facet of life from your doctor to your lawyer to the guys who design the apps and programs and tech you use.
try as you may to convince yourself it's a scam but the proof is all around you that it matters and the most highly educated people in society are also currently having the highest imcomes per home. just because people don't land jobs due to systematic racism doesn't make education a scam. your view seems to hinge on employment defining education being a success. when in reality it's not that simple. the uneducated will always be at the bottom of society and that's a fact. make better decisions on what you spend your money on in education. that's reality
