I hate this new CBA. It was designed to help small market teams like OKC, but it's going to kill us because we actually did a great job. Unless  Presti pulls some magic out of the air.

In an ideal scenario either give Perk the amnesty or trade him. Then give Ibaka the same contract they gave Perk which was a reasonable deal ($32 1/2 Mil). But Ibaka would probably want more like $40 Mil :sadcam:

The Oklahoma City Thunder and coach Scott Brooks are closing in at last on a new contract after drawn-out negotiations, according to sources close to the process. Sources told ESPN.com on Friday night that Brooks and the Thunder, following slow-moving talks that had still left the sides well apart by the end of the NBA Finals earlier this month, will soon finalize a new four-year deal to follow up the contract that expires Saturday. Although the financial specifics were not yet known, ESPN.com reported last week that the Thunder's most recent offer was "north of $4 million" annually. "They are getting close," said one source briefed on the discussions. Contrary to a report published earlier in the day, a source familiar with the situation said late Friday that negotiations for Thunder coach Scott Brooks' contract extension are “progressing.”

I don't understand how this deal wasn't done already but whatever.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
:scusthov:I am so mad they got PJ3 we needed his skillset

Im shocked he slid that far, he was a lock for top 5 last year, and it's not like his numbers were bad this season. He legitimately has superstar potential, and putting him in a supportive atmosphere like that with all them young dudes could be a huge problem for the league.

yea meniscus or not him dropping was plain ass idiotic, i know a lot of teams have problems with his motor issues but with the right organization he has the potential to be a top 3 player in this draft.. he has a huge upside if he puts in the work.

And his motor is only an issue if you're drafting him to be the face of your franchise, he went to a team that would be ecstatic to get 7ppg from him off the bench which he should be able to do in his sleep. I think teams in the 18-27 range that passed on him are just retarded to be honest. If he didn't have a motor before he damn well might have one now, nobody that talented can be happy with sliding that far in the draft.

The knee issue messed him up though. I live in Big 12 country and caught many Baylor games. He is skilled but he lacks confidence and a motor. Cofidence can come with time and practice, motor not so much.
