And his motor is only an issue if you're drafting him to be the face of your franchise, he went to a team that would be ecstatic to get 7ppg from him off the bench which he should be able to do in his sleep. I think teams in the 18-27 range that passed on him are just retarded to be honest. If he didn't have a motor before he damn well might have one now, nobody that talented can be happy with sliding that far in the draft.

yup he sounds devasted, and you got teams drafting a college career 6ppg 5rpg plumbee over him :heh: this is why some teams continue to never compete.

The knee issue messed him up though. I live in Big 12 country and caught many Baylor games. He is skilled but he lacks confidence and a motor. Cofidence can come with time and practice, motor not so much.

all we need is confidence on this team that's all.

Presti said the injury didn’t even happen while Jones was with the Bears and is neither new nor particularly concerning.

not getting drafted 20 was the best thing that happened to Perry. Mozzy has similar issues with his confidence/motor and he went from the starting center to being stashed at the end of the bench next to Julyan Stone. if Karl thinks you're not willing to shed blood out there, he'll refuse to play you.

GK would probably stare Jones down in practice on some

40 mil :russ:

bro, deandre jordan got 42 mil after averaging 7 points, 7 boards, and 2 blocks a game

ibaka is about to get 50+

:laff: at these guys trying to devalue Ibaka. He led the league in blocks, should have won DPOY. Dude has an improved jumper and has potential to be a poor mans hakeem if he works on his post game and rebounding. This dude will be offered near max money at a minimum. Look at okafors deal and that deandre deal :scusthov:

Those in comparison will have him at least in the 13-15 per mil year. You better believe Morey will make that offer next season. Ibaka has a great chance of being a Rocket in 2013. The picks we have made and the players we are trying to move point to this.

Rockets game plan

Plan A - Trade for Dwight

Plan B - Clear cap space and sign Ibaka

Perkins contract is hurting OKCs cap flexibility.

We will make an offer that OKC can't match. :smugdraper:

Olajuwon also wants to bring in Ibaka, runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year. Olajuwon plans to contact Thunder coach Scott Brooks, once his teammate in Houston, to stress the importance of Ibaka having a session.

"He needs it," said Olajuwon, who believes the athletic Ibaka has the ability to be a much better offensive player.

Sessions with Olajuwon run three or four days. Although he worked with James for a charitable donation, Olajuwon is usually compensated, with a player's team covering a cost he wouldn't reveal.

Olajuwon, who was named MVP in 1994 and won titles with the Rockets in 1994 and 1995, is well versed in teaching post moves, but he stressed there's so much more to his sessions.

Ibaka shouldn't have won DPOY, his defense was garbage in the finals and he would get into foul trouble every game and contributed nothing offensively

:deadrose: If that's the price then he can go. I'm not trying to devalue Ibaka I'm just hoping that him & Harden will take less than they could get to stay & compete every year. It's unrealistic but :manny: I can dream. We can amnesty Perk.

Is that really the Rockets game plan??? :pachaha: It doesn't seem like it since they already have what 5 PFs & they are going to have to either trade or sign a C. All big men are overpaid though.
