No reason to go movies anymore

i had stopped going to the movies for years because i would always end up in the theaters where some stupid group of teenagers showed up just to play and scream. Once i started going back i realized how much i missed it. Just go at slower times when the ignorant people aren't out.

A lot of us have and continue to invest into a home theater, and I got a legit popcorn machine for Christmas. 120" screen in 4k, and I can pause to take a piss? Sheeeeit!

What kind of popcorn machine do you have. I'm looking on Amazon at the West Bend 4oz model for $72, and the Paragon Theater Pop 8oz model for about $500...no way am I getting this one. Do the popcorn really taste as good as the movie theater popcorn?

I'm addicted to Theater though. I truly go to the Movies to escape. Mainly I see Horror or Action Movies when I do just to get the Full Experience of it.

I like being in with the Crowds instead of going with Friends actually. Something about watching a Movie for the 1st Time with a bunch of Strangers is just a better experience.

I'll always be going to the Movies.

Still not worth 17 bucks a ticket. Plus these classic movies from the 70's were already on the big screen when they were first released. Movie theaters didn't just come out in the 2000's.

You know what won't allow you to fully experience a movie...a bad crowd. There's too many idiots out there and sometimes they choose to be at the same showing you're going too. I've had movies ruined because there's a baby crying. Who the hell brings a baby to a movie?

I don't need IMAX, high ticket prices, 20 minutes of trailers, AC's set to sub zero temperatures, and overpriced concessions. Not to mention that most big movies have 2.5-3 hour runtimes so bathroom breaks can have your missing important moments.

I can enjoy a movie just fine from the couch and I don't even have a huge screen and surround sound.

I got this one in black, expensive enough, around 300 I think. Got it as a christmas gift for myself along with a box of this.

You don't have to use all of the butter/coconut oil that comes in the package depending on how salty you actually want it, but gotdamn

Movies hit streaming 3 months after theater release. Back then it would take a year before making it to rent at blockbuster.

I got a legit movie theater style pop corn machine at the crib, 55 in tv with sound, dollar store in close proximity...the fukk I need to go a theater for?

Last flick I actually went out to see was FFH with one other person and it was damn near 80 bucks. Now add 5 more people to that tab.
