what's the consensus on this one folks?
Hopefully this means defense in the first few rds
A little bit of an overpay, but you now have a surefire #2 receiver to put next to Calvin. This is basically what Burleson was supposed to be, but Tate has more years left in him, so I think this can work out.what's the consensus on this one folks?
I like Broyles, but he's basically Mr. Glass. I would still get a receiver in the draft, but now I can just wait till the later rounds and go defense heavy (hopefully). Is tate a bonafied #2? Well they have no choice now. I forgot Broyles even existed.
At least they're drafting D with #10
Certainly fills a need. Maybe a little overpaid, but he's a lot better than what the Lions had.
Has to be. If they take Ebron at 10, I'm not paying attention to them until the season starts.
Yup, and getting 2 out of a handful of the young corners to get going. Hopefully these coaches get it right.Fills a need but it doesn't matter if they signed jerry rice. If stafford gonna play like a bytch they won't be making any real noise.
And 18th in passer rating; 24th in completion percentage.Do we realize that everybody hollering that the lions need receivers, but they had the #3 passing offense in the league.
Problem wasn't the receivers it was the qb.And 18th in passer rating; 24th in completion percentage.
Watkins is the only WR I would have wanted them to consider with that 10th pick. With the Tate signing, there shouldn't be any offensive players on their board in the first round (or second). Dennard would be my guy, but we'll see what these clowns decide with their BPA approach.
