@JustCKing what was your opinion of 2-4-1?

At first I didn't like that mama drama because it sounded bland and uninspired but those beats are knocking in retrospect, but you could see Mia X was tired, probably overworked and her parents died. @JustCKing @OHSNAP!
Some cuts went hard (What's Ya Point, Don't Blame Me, I Think Somebody, Fallen Angels, Flip 2 Rip), but yeah it felt rushed as fukk and uninspired, just like the following Mystikal, Silkk, C albumsAt first I didn't like that mama drama because it sounded bland and uninspired but those beats are knocking in retrospect, but you could see Mia X was tired, probably overworked and her parents died. @JustCKing @OHSNAP!
True dat! Still believe it's one of the best pure gangsta rap records ever. No apologies, just reality, the dark side of life in the gutter, brutally honest, paranoid, pessimistic, with very short glimmers of hope, BBTP delivered some brillant beats (Akickdoe, Picture Me, Ghetto Ties, Life Or Death, Where I'm From). That changed somewhat with Bossalinie@JustCKing @OHSNAP!
C-Murder's debut might be the best no limit album in the way it was sequenced and put together
Just listen to the "Intro and Outro" tracks, sounds like a movie or tv series opening and ending
S/O O'Dell for that

Its a shame how P dropped the ball on all this. nikka don't even own the masters to music anymore
A lot of the alleged "bites" from CMR was just slang. I wouldn't really consider that biting. However, there were some obvious bites in 1999, most notably the "Light Em Up". They were ignited in blue flames in that video like the Hot Boys in the "We On Fire" video.
P was lifting Face's Diary flow and delivery thought Ice Cream Man.
