I'll put that up against any album that year, it's a slept on album and the anticipation for that album was crazy. It was like he played his role perfectly. It wasn't on the scene, but you felt dude which made the build up for his album crazy.

I remember an old interview he did on 93.3 and he said, he didn't want to come out with an album, he was sitting back in the cut just watching how things went. He wasn't going to put out an album but P talked him into making one
He also had time to prepare for it, unlike Bossalinie which was rushed af just like all albums around that period in late 98 to mid-99. NL stans were starvin' for Life or death. And did they deliver

@OHSNAP! how are you ranking P & Silkks/Even No Limit discography post BBTP production? Carlos Stephens stuck around for a bit and kind of still had that signature sound we was accustomed to.

There were so many posts in here that i overlooked your post, sorry. Gotti was part of the Gambino Family. First it was Gotti and Lil Sleep (only song together was on the Bout It soundtrack). Then Gotti was solo for a while until Pheno appeared, after that young cousins Malachi and Reginelli joined in. In October 98 the Ghetto Organized album was released, a hidden gem in No Limit's catalogue, check it out!
i didnt know lil gotti was part of gambino family and on ghetto organized :wow:
