2 things, did Master P bite Cash Money? I don't know how that's possible being that both are born and raised in new orleans and I've heard No Limit artists use N.O. slang (hot boy, waaan, tuesdays and thursdays) and incorporate bounce music into their music.

2nd thing, did Master P bite or was he inspired, influenced by Scarface, Spice 1, dru down?

A lot of the alleged "bites" from CMR was just slang. I wouldn't really consider that biting. However, there were some obvious bites in 1999, most notably the "Light Em Up". They were ignited in blue flames in that video like the Hot Boys in the "We On Fire" video.

P was lifting Face's Diary flow and delivery thought Ice Cream Man.

P himself said in interviews that he combined different rap elements from different parts of the country (Texas, NO, Bay...) into a rap gumbo

He "bit" a shytton from Face, Spice 1, UGK, Pac, Dre (G Funk) and many more, cause he was a big fan of all of em too! Same with his brothers

P started copying CMR right after they blew up. Hot Boyz movie, Ice On My Wrist, Light It Up, much more NO slang, etc

They credited Anita Thomas on that one. She sounds different than Porsha although they do look alike:

YOOO

you just cracked the code.

I was watching "major players" & "slow down" a few weeks ago, wondering why Porsha didn't look as good in "slow down".
I mean, this anita Thomas jawn looks good too. but Porsha was on prime beyonce levels in that major players video.

great posting bro.:mindblown:

On Bounce That Azz

Master P said "Walked through the Courtway, made it to the gym
Hollered at Michael Brown, Big Willie, and Magnolia Slim"

Who was Mike Brown and Big willie? And P knew Soulja Slim before he got signed?

@JustCKing @OHSNAP!

I think Soulja Slim was more of a bounce artist before signing to P. He was also one of KLC's Parkway artists, which is how he ended up on No Limit. I think he was locked up when the other Parkway artists signed, which would explain why it was like 3 years between his appearance on Down South Hustlers and C-Murder's Life or Death.

Yeah P got to know Slim through KLC in 95 and put him on Down South Hustlers. Like just c king wrote, Slim got locked up in 96 and came out in early 98, signed with NL, put out GITER and got locked up again shortly after, dude was thuggin' for real
