Brehs is whammies slang for product? Heard it on da last don “more 2 life”
I always took it as being synonymous with bonk, wack, or cheap. Just given the context of how I've heard it being used. Mystikal also said it "I'm out for big bucks, bo whammies".
There was a game show that use to come on, very popular, where you would win money, but if you hit a "whammie" you would lose your all your money. It was a devil character, 3 whammies, you were out of the game.
I remember my Madea use to watch this show all the time, and as a kid I would love this show, once you hit the whammy, a tasmina devil would pop on the screen and do some type of dance or be in a costume or some shyt.
I think they (P and them) got the concept from the show.

They never involved P with their pushing, I think once they started getting investigated, P had to let them go. The feds wanted P, so he had to cut ties.
I'll put that up against any album that year, it's a slept on album and the anticipation for that album was crazy. It was like he played his role perfectly. It wasn't on the scene, but you felt dude which made the build up for his album crazy.
I remember an old interview he did on 93.3 and he said, he didn't want to come out with an album, he was sitting back in the cut just watching how things went. He wasn't going to put out an album but P talked him into making one

Never thought about it until this post. No Limit and Waffle House wasn't a good mix. I still laugh about Mia X telling the story of Hot Boy Jimmy at the Waffle House. They were taking too long to bring their food out and Jimmy hopped over the counter, went to the back and finished their order himself.
