After 1998 the albums started getting worse for No Limit

Not saying all of em were bad but they just weren't as good as previous releases

Juvenile's 400 Degreez was just a monster of an album especially with "Back That Azz Up" It was a different sound and that's what made the shift from No Limit to Cash Money in popularity in my opinion.

Beats By The Pound breaking up was a big blow too

Cash Money just made better music flat out than No Limit, they were bound to take over. They already ran New Orleans and not No Limit

Better beats, better producers, better rappers, less filler on albums, less gimmicks, no jacking nikkas shyt, and you ain't have to worry about trash nikkas all over the albums or features.

No Limit was on borrowed time. CMR was just all around better

This might've been posted already but does anyone know what happened to Mr Serv On's eye? I don't remember him having a fukked up eye back in the day...

From late 98 on I agree. But NL's work til maybe the Skull Duggery/Mia X albums in sept./oct.98 was mostly topnotch, better than CMR imo (Soulja Rags, Get It How U Live or both How U Luv That albums weren't all that great. BG albums were the best ones by far). But in 99 there was no doubt that CMR put out better music, from 400 Degreez to Tha Block Is Hot and the 2 albums in 2000, hard ass shyt

Still, NL had some overlooked gems during that time (Da Crime Family, Street Life, World War 3, Trapped In Crime...)

Nah starting with the last UNLV album in 96 (Uptown 4 Life) everything they released was better.

Solja Rags shyts on any No Limit album honestly that might be the most underrated album from either camp. It's basically 400 Degreez without the huge singles, Juve was spitting flames

Get It How You Live is a classic to me as well and How You Luv That still gets play this very day. CMR albums definitely got higher replay value

You gotta be a No Limit stan to say those albums weren't that good and gas up Skull Duggery's shyt:pachaha:

No Solja rags does not, calm down with hyperbole.

There is no one on cash money better then, Mystikal, Fiend, Mac and Soulja Slim

Mia X > B.G., Turk and the Big Tymers

Naw breh :mjlol:

I love Juve but the only thing he has over them is 400 degrees

If we are going by straight rapping, all of those that were mentioned were better than him
