Dude had one of the most gangsta voices/delivery I ever heard. Too bad his album didn't come out. I thinl he was also featured on Magic's Mobb 4ever
Baby Soulja was only on Never (Da Crime Family) and on a Wild Boyz cut
Nah brah it was a really good overlooked album. Ruff Ryders, Cash Money, Missy n many others came out during that time and nobody cared bout TRU. C killed his spots on there. Some really good production too (NL Army, Tru Homies, Hail Mary, Don't Judge Me, Tank Goes On...). BBTP and future Soulja Productions (XL, Suga Bear) together for the first and last time
Album was alrite, would've preferred DIG or Popeye comin' out at that point tho. C was tight with the Tuff Guys crew who were heavy in the streets (RIP Doe-Doe) so he helped Marcelo out. His Ride On Dem Bustas remake was fire, and the cut with Mac went hard

(MAC!!!!)
This.
If I remember correctly, Mr. Marcelo and Currency are cousins. I remember copping Marcelo's album thinking he was with No Limit after his appearance on "Whodi". His sitiation turned out to be one of those Lil Italy and Young Bleed deals where No Limit cross promoted Marcelo and his crew and gave Marcelo one feature on a No Limit release.
Give Da Crime Family another spin brah! UnderratedKL. They didn't call him the drum major for nothing
This was the last No Limit album I brought during that era. Wasn't their best
No I was kind of done with No Limit when he dropped. BBTP had left and other nikkas that I grew up listening to had left as well
They're brothers

I dont want you no more is my shyt though. Serv kinda fukked the song up though
smh mack 10 should have did that since he was in im bout it and was on west coast bad boyz compilations, that would have gelled nicely. He would later do it with cash money
Idk if they offered him one, im just saying that P and Mack knew each other from the movie and from the West Coast Bad Boy days. He would later sign with Cash moneythey had a big tour in '99 that was virtually ignored by the media.
it had like 20 acts advertised on the commercial.
I don't know if people like prime suspects, Gambino family, etc got to perform, but I know the lineup was huge.
when did they offer mack 10 a spot?
if it was during that late '90s era, mack-10 prolly passed since he was hard at work on his own imprint, hoo-bangin. ended up signing mc eiht too.
