I never heard about that.Nah it was barnes for butler
I remember hearing about the Bulls potentially trading Deng to Sacramento or Golden State for their lottery pick. GS ended up picking Barnes, and Sac-Town ended up picking Robinson.

The Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors discussed a Jimmy Butler-for-Harrison Barnes swap prior to the February trade deadline, according to a report.
It is reportedly unclear which team said no in the talks.
Butler has averaged 13.2 points and five rebounds this season while Barnes has averaged 9.2 points and 3.9 rebounds.
The Bulls don't want to fire him because he has 2 years left and they want compensation for him from which ever team hires him.I'm surprised they haven't already announced thibs is gone already. Hate to see him go but this is so reminiscent of the bears situation.
I'd be all for a house cleaning. I'd take Thibs over GarPax if it came down to itSo... do we need a better coaching staff or do we need to clean house altogether?
How dude got bust written on him when he barely even played year 1? I feel dudes need a legit chance before you can say that not one year where dude didn't really play.I don't think they have to fully rebuild we have a core
We do need to tweak, but I'm afraid what that means when we have gar pax leading the way.
Dunleavy cool for the bench but we need a legit 3
I'm scared gar pax will get on a plane and woo Manu ginobli old ass here and act like they made a power move.
Quite honestly I would move mcdermott now while teams still feels he has potential and you can get something good for him, sorry dude kinda has bust written on him.
Again snell good for the bench and I would only move taj for a legit quality player, not just to dump him.
Need another back up pg too, brooks don't have it, although maybe another offensive system may help him.
Let's put it like this, from what I've seen from him, I say he closer to regular role player who the bulls could have selected in the 20s then some star in the making that was worth giving up 2 1st rd picks forHow dude got bust written on him when he barely even played year 1? Exactly regarding bold you ain't seen shyt lol. Unless you in the practices or something we don't know what dude really is but I can agree maybe we shouldn't gave up the two picks for dude. I think he can be a solid starter not superstar but they have to give a real chance before I can say he's not even that. I'm like that with any player esp after the first year. If we on that flow we should have traded Noah after his first year and probably others I can't think of off top. If we do I wouldn't be fuming but I do think he needs a chance just like how Snell showed some improvement from year 1 to 2.Let's put it like this, from what I've seen from him, I say he closer to regular role player who the bulls could have selected in the 20s then some star in the making that was worth giving up 2 1st rd picks for
He could be serviceable, but the bulls didn't give up as much for a younger dunleavy. They gave up the picks for who they thought would be all star potential. And I just don't see that with him.
So my suggestion is selling high for mcdermott while some teams still thinks he could be a all star, rather than it gets exposed he just another in the jj Reddikk Adam Morrison mold who will never be a star and we can't get anything of great value for him.
