Yeah, Brown is from Warrensville - was on the Cuyahoga County Council. Nina is a Cleveland native, City Council and State Senate

The funding went different places - and came from different sources.
The majority of Turner's funding came from small individual donors, largely Ohioans who were fans of her.
The majority of Brown's funding was from corporate fundraisers - and went almost immediately into attack campaigns.
As a person who actually lives here, the difference was obvious from the start, but the CNN-addled non-Clevelanders have no conception at all of what the difference is.

Clearly the problem is that the progressive message must not be reaching the wealthy white and Jewish Beachwood residents, and that's where the progressives should focus their attention

Nina Turner won in the Black majority districts.
Shontel Brown won in the wealthier white-majority districts. That's the beginning and the end.
It has nothing to do with the "Bernie Sanders wing" or "entitlement" or any of the other bullshyt that you're pretending to have knowledge about.
Nina Turner was already in the Ohio Senate for damn near a decade nikka - the OH-11 district encompasses a "Black majority" portion of the area - but includes the 99% Black Central/DTW neighborhood with a $10k/year annual household income and 70% White Beachwood with a $90k/year annual household income.
This was messaging and attack ads aimed at the whites.
This wasn't a blowout, but it was an election with 16% election turnout and a candidate that won the Black inner city vote and lost the suburban white vote.
The problem was the mass attack ads and campaigning aimed at the suburbanites and their higher turnout, do you live in Cleveland?
