The Bernie Sanders wing of the party loses elections bc they give off the sense of being entitled ass scumbags who think it's unfathomable that Black ppl don't crawl on their knees to vote for them.
I always said that they have the energy and that once they figure out the politics that they'll begin to win more elections.
There is an alderman calros Rosa in Chicago who is starting to figure shyt out. He will probably run for mayor against Lightfoot. I think she will still win bc Chicago isn't DSA country but he is realizing that you can be socialist etc but still recognize and be realistic about the system under which we currently operate.
Yeah, so you don't know what you're talking about - but I appreciate the cocky Hill-ready evaluation.
Nina Turner won in the Black majority districts.
Shontel Brown won in the wealthier white-majority districts. That's the beginning and the end.
It has nothing to do with the "Bernie Sanders wing" or "entitlement" or any of the other bullshyt that you're pretending to have knowledge about.
People like Turner just aren’t electable outside deep partisan districts or ethnic enclaves
Nina Turner was already in the Ohio Senate for damn near a decade nikka - the OH-11 district encompasses a "Black majority" portion of the area - but includes the 99% Black Central/DTW neighborhood with a $10k/year annual household income and 70% White Beachwood with a $90k/year annual household income.
This was messaging and attack ads aimed at the whites.
Bunch of excuses. Until ya stop being hardheaded and stop the name calling, the election losses are gonna keep on coming. Keep listening to these left wing hairy glasses wearing trust fund white boys and you gonna keep having Nina Turner, Cenk, etc., election blowouts.
This wasn't a blowout, but it was an election with 16% election turnout and a candidate that won the Black inner city vote and lost the suburban white vote.
the preachy tone is in the people saying the voters dont know what's good for them and "cant help those who refuse to help themselves", etc. the same mess that causes rose twitter to be counterproductive during elections, and allows for people to not learn anything new for the next battle. this is getting old.
as far as i can tell, nina turner had more money. the problem is her narrative wasnt working enough. brown got more with less money. that should cause people to reflect instead of deflect.
The problem was the mass attack ads and campaigning aimed at the suburbanites and their higher turnout, do you live in Cleveland?
