Good posts in here. I'll respond later though. Currently on a 9 hour road trip from Enugu to Lagos Island. Anyone who really wants to know Nigeria take a road trip from one side to another with a reputable driving service.

What driving service are you using? My hubby from Enugu, and it beautiful. Buhari closed the Enugu airport because a lot of Igbos was bypassing the bullshyt we have to face mainly in Lagos. Port Harcourt got a new international airport, built and owned by China man, but I could say I did not pay for one bribe last year. I also heard a rumor, Siemens, about to take over for NEPA and rebuild the light grids, pretty soon Nigeria will not own Nigeria because of incompetence. I have cousins that have degrees in engineering, medicine, computer science but can't find a job. The workforce and education is there, the corruption is on level.

I used Autostar. The ride wasnt bad. 6 of us including the driver in a Toyota Sienna.

As you know the roads are horrible in the south east so you can imagine how we had to navigate dirt roads and pot holes.

There was a time where military men pointed a gun at us and let it off after we had passed.

Many of my family members here called me crazy for making the drive.

What I heard is that Enugu airport was closed because of low visibility for pilots due to the seasonal dust in the air.

I would be surprised if Siemens establishes light here.

The generators that people own and use are big business.

The people who are billionaires based off generator sales and maintenance will need to allow Siemens a pass to do anything.

I didn't pay a bribe on my way here but i had to shuck and jive.

Plus I had no naira.

Now I have like 50k on me so I may dash small.

In my opinion Nigeria already does not own Nigeria.
