do yall think KD should've ignored Draymond and stayed in Golden State ? Do yall think GS should've checked Draymond creating internal bad energy for the team ?

They definitely should’ve checked Draymond. I’m pretty good at reading situations. Draymond didn’t get checked because Steph and Klay wanted KD gone. He overstayed his welcome which is wild as they asked him to come.

Everyone that watched the series knew KD was trying to give the FMVP to Steph by deferring to him in game 3 and game 4.

Steph laid an egg in game 3 and KD had to take over to close the game.

Game 4 KD fukked around and hit the triple double even though he tried not to score and was focusing on passing to Steph :pachaha:

Cavs started leaving KD open on purpose so Steph doesn't win it :dead:

They won because they punted the next two seasons getting two first lottery picks and using the gift that KD gave them of a sign trade to flip DLO for a number 1 overall pick in Andrew Wiggins. Their ownership group paid everyone and even had guys still take less money.

So yes a team of a top five guy with multiple MVPs with a DPOY winner, multiple all-nba first & second time award winners, and two lottery guys should win a championship or be in contention
Let’s be real nobody had the Warriors winning after KD left. Even with Wiggins how many expected Weedplate to play out of his mind and contribute to a title contender. They won with a corpse of Otto Porter Jr, Injury prone two way player in GP2, and on the way out of the league Bjelica. You make it seem like it was a no brainer that they would win again with all that transpired.

Also none of their lottery guys even contributed to their title :dead:

Moody and Kuminga were bench warmers and Wiseman was injured (for the best)

It was still crazy how much talent they were able to stockpile because of the lucky way dominos had fallen in 2015-2016 which enabled them to go WAY over the salary cap. $46 million max to Steph, $38 million max to Klay, $25 million to Draymond, $5 million to Looney, then the draft picks ($9 for Wiseman, $5 for Kuminga, $4 for Moody).....they had $150 million on the books, not just over the cap but past the first apron too, and yet they were still able to add a $32 million player like Wiggins.

The circumstances where Steph got way underpaid, Draymond got way underpaid, Barnes turned down a deal, the salary cap spiked massively, and Durant agreed to take a pay cut all combined to allow then to sign KD in 2016 when no title team is ever able to just add a max free agent like that without touching their core. And then they kept parlaying that roster advantage to allow them to basically operate as if a different salary cap applied to them than to other teams for the next eight years.

Every dynasty needs insane luck to win.

Also nobody had the Warriors winning even with the lottery picks and Wiggins.

I remember in real time Steph looking upset so it's hard to call this a lie. I am not mad at Steph for wanting to win the award, it was the only mark against him.

That much is true when you think about it.

Spurs only being able to tank for Duncan cause D-Rob got hurt.

Lakers only getting Kobe because he refused to play for anyone else.

Bulls only getting Rodman because he sabotaged the Spurs so bad they were willing to straight give him away.

Lakers able to add #1 pick Magic to a WCSF team cause of weird-ass draft pick rules at the time plus Magic purposely leaving school early so he could join KAJ in LA.

Celtics only in a position to draft Bird cause Tiny Archibald got hurt, then got Parish/McHale in one of the most lopsided trades ever.

A huge list of fortunate circumstances that allowed the Celtics to draft Russell, the clear #1 in the nation, and Heinsohn, another one of the best players in the country, when they were already a Finals squad with MVP Cousy on the roster.

For a team to stockpile the kind of ridiculous talent that leads to an actual "dynasty", there's almost always been some sort of unusual circumstance that allowed them to make that acquisition.
