Its time to dead Herbert top 5 QB talks for good. Its only week 4 but that Chiefs game was embarrassin. He throws some of the most perfect lasers you'll see that nikkas just ignore the ducks and missed reads constantly. And when he put so much torque to ball that it bounce off receivers hands. A nikka will be 10ft away off a screen and he throw that shyt 100 MPH lol. He physically one of the most talented QBs but his IQ not there. If he was black we'd have heard that brought up more but crickets :mjpls:

Bosa and Derwin was missin for Chargers but they defense did they job. Herbert scores 0pts after the 1st quarter this nikkas teams always peak in 1st quarter and halves. He fall off a cliff consistently he a more athletic but worse overall Philip Rivers. Gettin outscored 17-0 after 1st quarter after Chiefs lost Rice and had other significant offense injuries is a horrible look. Herbert top 10 for sure but he not top 5 and he not elite. Always some excuse wit this cac like it was for TLaw but nikkas have caught up and realized he trash. Herbert not trash but he not that guy either

Mahomes
Lamar
Josh
Burrow
Stroud

is very clearly top 5 QBs. If your top 5 got anyone different its wrong :yeshrug: if Jayden really like that and not a rookie hot streak he the only QB I can see breakin into that class no one else close

Ok I'll explain it to you, you can't guarantee when you have a high enough draft pick to take a QB
So when you're in that position and really fall in love with a QB prospect and your team needs one, you have to take them right then and there
You can't guarantee your team will be bad enough to be in a position to get a QB again
You have at least 4 years of the rookie contract to build the team out from there
It's easy to say take OL first and all this but that OL can suck and you just wasted a pick
Giants took Evan Neal 7th overall in 2022, here we are 2 years later and he's riding the bench cause he's so bad. And he was considered a can't miss OL, was even considered the #1 overall prospect for part of that season
This happens to QBs, shyt multiple QBs every year. Having a high pick doesn't mean the QB will be any good. Quality prospects fall all the time. You would be better of having a squad and picking one of them or a quality vet rather than banking on a 22 yr old lifting you out of the basement...even if he is talented.

Look at QB situations around the league.

Lamar was drafted late in in the 1st to a squad with a culture in place.

Purdy was Mr irrelevant on a loaded team.

Dak in the 4th I think and came in with talent. Replaced a FA in Romo.

Love late in the 1st to a team in the chip game.

Mayfield was a FA to a squad with remnants of a chip team.

Goff was number 1 but was almost a bust and still considered not good enough. Traded for a number 1 who never won shyt on the squad that drafted him. Rams built a SB squad and traded him for Stafford and built a superteam that defied the cap.

Hurts was round 2 and again remnants if a champion

Allen was 8 I believe and overcame and survived some early struggles

Chiefs traded up for Mahomes after being in the playoffs every year

Lawrence supposed to be generational and aside from a year and a half stretch hasnt been anywhere close.

Steelers headed to the playoffs AGAIN with the worst QB situation in thr division.

That is except for CLE that went all in on a predator who cant even play no more. Perfect situation to draft a young guy into

Stroud and Daniels look special. But both also came in with new coaching staffs. Dude drafted before Stroud already been demoted and squad looked instantly better. Questions already swirling about generational Caleb.

That's not an excuse is a reality. Look at every 2024 playoff teams WR's and tell me who the Ravens were better than:

MIA: Tyreek, Waddle
Hou: Collins, Dell, Woods
Bills: Diggs, Davis, Shakir
Det: St Brown, Williams
SF: Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings
TB: Evans, Godwin
GB: Doubs, Watson, Reed
Pitt: Pickens, Diontae
CLE: Amari, Moore
PHI: AJ, Devonta
Dal: Ceedee, Cooks
LA: Kupp, Puka
KC: Rice, Watson, Mecole, MVS

Only maybe KC wasn't clearly better but they're deeper and Mahomes is better than Lamar.

Bateman is a bust. Agholor isn't reliable. What did they add? They didn't even need to get a top 5 WR. There were free agents available who could've added production so you get enough depth that you improve your passing game.

Did Lamar play great against KC no, but neither did Mahomes in the second half. A little more firepower would make things easier for the offense. It was a heavy dose of Zay Flowers and his fumble was the turning point in the game.

KC was the best defense in the playoffs. Why wouldn't you want as much firepower as possible? That's what every team was doing.

Not only was KC the best defense in the playoffs. They also had the best offensive line.

Mahomes/Andy Reid calling plays/offensive line/Kelce/Pacheco/Rice.....is an elite offensive unit

breh..

Damien Woody, Greeny all them this morning got on my nerves. Rex too. And YES they were siding with Rodgers and not Saleh

Thank God Green Bay chose the organization over this dude. He is an irritable cancer at this point
Says more about Saleh that Rodgers. He been cast as whiny, weirdo that doesnt get it done when it matters most since the Love draft and his ensuing tantrum.

Yet that elite offensive unit could still only muster 17 points in the AFC Championship game and 25 points in the SB, so is it really an elite offensive unit?

Vikings have beaten the Niners, Texans and Packers in a row all wire to wire

AFC gonna be a clusterfukk this season

People overrated the fukk out of the Browns roster. Watson has had his issues but the rest of the offense ain't doing him no favors

NFL fukked up letting Jayden Daniels get there with Kliff Kingsbury

Jaguars going back to the Jaguars I've known for most of my adult life

If you a black QB and the team signs Joe Flacco to be your backup you gonna lose your job
AFC south games coming up for Vikings

Schedule looking nice

No I definitely get that, but most of the time these teams force themselves to fall in love with a QB cause they either see a run on them or they take a shot and hope shyt works out.

Hell look at Carolina, they thought they had their guy in Bryce, now people aren't even sure if he's gonna be there next year.

If you're gonna strap yourself to a QB, you might as well sign a vet and have him sit his first year or two and just have him soak in game instead of throwing him to the wolves cause not all rookies are day 1 ready.

You saw it with Jameis.

How do you think Tampa handled building around Jameis and do you think he should've played Day 1?
