Are folks really pretending we've paid attention to Super Bowl week since Marshawn said he was only there to not get fined so they can give the NBA a fake W?

The whole premise of this is crazy. Outside of Marshawn, people stopped caring about media week when they started letting anyone get a media pass about 15 years ago.

MLB and the NBA have their all star week-weekend to celebrate their sport and leagues and the week leading to the SB is the NFL's all star weekend. But this year its nonexistent, meaningless, and a flop thanks to the Association

The week of the Superbowl is to hawk products, get hyped for the halftime show and smother America to death one more time. We're just realizing now what has always been true: you can do other shyt with your life during the week besides beat off in anticipation for Sunday. That has always been true. It's also been true during the season yet fans will find a reason why basketball or hockey or whatever is too inconvenient to get into on a fall Wednesday or Tuesday or Friday. So the NBA got a bunch of hype for salvaging their deadline. After Sunday is over, you know what America is gonna call the next 3 weeks that the NBA is gonna try to capitalize on all this news? The dead zone of sports.
