They explained on the show that they basically got 2 QBs from each era. Manning & Brady were the two from this era. Brees isn't getting in over those two no matter how you try to slice it, especially with numbers alone being almost worthless now due to the rule changes.

if that’s the way they came up with the list then I understand why they picked who they did....:yeshrug:

It’s going to be interesting when they get to WR assuming they do this for every position.

they hate to give TO props and we all know AB won’t even be in consideration now.

“BOtH nEVeR wOn anYThInG”

such a simpleton comparison.

Rivers “arm talent” was never anywhere near Marinos. Not even close. Marinos arm talent is three times that of Rivers

Marino played 35 playoff gsmes without a single 100 yard rusher.

It took over two decades for another qb to touch 5000 yards in a season.

marino is the only qb still in the top 5 in passing not from the qb friendly era.

marino has never been as int happy as Rivers.

youre “tHeY bOTh wOn nOTHinG” is just a lazy comparison. Straight lazy
That's ridiculous to say he has 3x his arm talent. Nobody affiliated with the NFL would agree with that statement. And Marino was very turnover prone in playoff games.

Anyone who thinks Rivers arm talent touches Marinos is a fool.

anyone who thinks the Fish were built to win in the playoffs knowing Marino was the only thing to worry about is a fool.

it is obvious you didnt see Marino in his hey day. River and Marino dont belong in the same sentence

I don't know if Aaron Rodgers have ever said it, but he even walks like Favre walks. U can tell he took a lot of his mannerisms and mechanics and added his supreme intellect and became the true goat qb.

Rivers shouldnt even come up in this discussion at all . he isnt even close to making it.

As for the list brees has pAssed farve all day that . farve ain't even on Rogers level if u ask me and Rogers ain't making the top 10.

Black QBs moon deserves to have his name at least on this list seeing how the fukked him over from coming in to the league like he should have.

And that is why he never won an MVP, because one of those "media darlings" conveniently had to go into "hyper mode" and outshine him whenever he put together an MVP-level season. :smh:

Then the kid came in and snatched another one for good measure

Youve made zero points. There isnt a single high standard record Rivers has that will stand two decades. Zero. It took 25 years before another qb touched 5000 yards in a season. And all it took was several pro passing game tweaks to the rules and a dome qb to do it. In what realm does Rivers have a single accolade in that spectrum as a qb?

garbage comparison. Straight garbage :camby:

You act like Marino was doing this in a "three yards and a cloud of dust" offense. He has 800 more passing attempts than Rivers. Compared to other QBs from his era, he has 1k more passing attempts than Elway, 1.5k more than Moon. Maybe those stats were a bit of a product of how much he's aired it out during his career. SMH
