At the end of the day when you think about when the big 4 were in their prime(Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees) nobody was taking Brees over the other 3.

Great player though, just a lot of competition in this era

And that is why he never won an MVP, because one of those "media darlings" conveniently had to go into "hyper mode" and outshine him whenever he put together an MVP-level season. :smh:

I would have put Drew Brees over Elway & Marino

LOL.

That weak arm midget couldn't hold those 2 beasts jocks. Marino and Elway are two of the most talented QBs of all-time. Put them in empty stats Brees place playing in this pass happy NFL in a dome with Sean Payton and both guys would've passed for 100,000 yards.

Kudos to the NFL 100 for not rewarding empty stats.

bruh he carried those Colts teams as far as you can..he rarely had a top half defense in Indy.

Peyton is the GOAT Qb.

Dude broke the huddle every game with 4 different plays, & called his own plays at the line based on how the defense was lined up. Nobody did it like the sheriff :wow:

they don't wanna hear this truth.

Peyton Manning has an entire offense designed for him from the time he was a rookie. A lot of QBs came to the line and changed the play based on the coverage. Brees and Brady do the same thing.

nikka, that man was the fukking OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. That was HIS shyt.

Before Brees got paired with Sean Payton he was run out of San Diego. They drafted that scrub Philip Rivers to replace him.

He's a product of Sean Payton. Don't ever disrespect the great Warren Moon like that again by saying that midget cac is better.

We just saw Teddy Bridgewater lead the Saints to an undefeated record this year with Brees out. You could put any decent QB in Brees place and he would do just as well on the Saints. The whiteboy is a system player.

^this.

Rodgers>>>Brees.

Marino>>>>Brees.

Do yall realize Marino's WHOLE legend is built off ONE season? And he only came close to doing it again ONE other time?

Elway threw more interceptions than touchdowns FOUR times in his career

These dudes mad overrated

That was a different era. Marino's 84 season is the equivalent of someone throwing for 75 TDs and 7,000 yards in a season in today's NFL. It was so ahead of its time that him not matching it again is understandable. And yes one season that insane is worth becoming a legend for all-times.

I never saw Elway play but everyone from that era says he was great. I'll believe the people who saw him play day in day out with their own eyes over box score scouting 30 years later.
