Gotdamn the Saints are such a crybaby and unlikable fan base/organization...
Thank you

it’s hilarious that the team that got screwed out of a Super Bowl and was mad about it for some reason now has to never complain about any bad calls or bad omissions again. Every other fan base can do it and does do it. But when the Saints do it, because we had the most known screw job in recent memory, we for some reason have no right to complain.

Victim shaming is real. :skip:

You must not have been watching closely because Marino had a sub 60% completion percentage. Rivers is 65%.
This isn’t a fair point. That’s like when someone compared Russel Wilson first 3 years to Brady at one point and ignores the fact that Russ’ was about middle of the pack and Brady’s TD number led the league in 2002. That’s how much the game had changed.

Where was all this noise during your SB run vs the Vikings when the refs were heavily on your side? :jbhmm:

It’s not a good look yet the #1 trending topic last night was Brees being left off the list. :mjlol:
I was referring to Brees' absence on the list not being a good look :dwillhuh:

Just kidding, you interpreted my post correctly. Damn, when people tell me the Saints fanbase is whiny as fukk, I thought they were over-exaggerating. :dead:

You better hope the refs screw us again next year cuz if we win it all we burning the motherfukking house down and you can have a whole offseason to complain about us like you’re complaining about us now :russ:

At this point I think all opposing fans complain more about us complaining than we complain in general :pachaha:

It's not fair to bring up competition percentage when discussing who was the more accurate QB? What would be a better method?

If you want to account for the era, here are a list of QBs from Marino's era who had 60+ completion percentage.

Young
Montana
Favre
Aikman
Gannon
McNair
Kelly
White

Just saying. Gotta keep that energy the same if u gonna use it :manny:
If you wanna compare that game to them deliberately missing a PI that would have sealed the super bowl for us, Have at it my friend. I know Saints fans got you in your feelings lately but damn bro, not enough to try and jock your rival :mjlol:

See my post above. Marino has a shorter Y/A than Rivers.

Marino does have 1k more passing attempts than anyone from his era but you don't want to address that.
Yet he was head and shoulders in TD to int rate compared to others.

Marino 275 TDs/ 165 Ints
Montana 192 TDs/ 91 ints
Elway 158 TDs/ 157 ints In an era when league-wide TD/int ratio was about 1.05/1, not 2/1 like 2018.

In 1984 when Marino set TD record of 48, next closest was 32. In 1986 Marino threw for 44, next closest threw 28 In 2018, Mahomes was great and threw 50, but 9 QBs (1/3 of NFL) threw more than 30.

You simply dont get how ahead he was above his peers. Rivers is no where near ahead of his peers.

did you watch Marino?
