New thriller: Don't Breathe

When did it follows become the standard for thrillers/horror type films

The majority of critics raving about it did that. And honestly I liked It Follows well enough but it was obvious that the folks who made had a nice concept that they had no clue how to resolve at all.

There is something i liked about this flick just as much as I liked in Hell or High Water: Using the city as a character and having it say so much without being overt. Much like that part of Texas, this part of Detroit was clearly hammered by the recession and it plays a part in character motivations and how far they're willing to go. There's also a nice satirization of the media and our country in general in how we cover vets and those who've served, saying that they're beyond reproach. Pretty smart shyt in a movie that won't get a lot of credit for it

he did not MENTION about ol' girl that escape or the money that was taken. I firmly believe it's to say that he will track her down at all cost like he was able to track the girl that ran over his daughter.

I'm really surprised you didn't like it breh. All the horror nuts seemed to love it.

My wife hated it. Said it was the worst movie i ever took her to.

It wasn't really horror to me , I hated the witch but that was horror this was more of a thriller

The movie exaggerated the enhanced senses of the guy , I understand being on familiar ground so it's his home and he can navigate in the dark but bein blind doesn't make you daredevil ( even having been in the military ). How did he avoid the gas ? How did he get out so quick in the end and get the gun without anyone hearing how he ninja pop up at the car ? Then loud noises affected him like he was daredevil several times .

Also how about do a better job scouting the house robbers ? And if your lookng for money that's supposedly there you should do it when he's not around to get more time . Say the money's in the mattress or something

Yeah but they were lazy with a lot of stuff I think since it got such high reviews I expected more . I'm pretty lax on horror movies but between this and the witch The critics
