I still wanna see it but double toasted was hilarious Korey was all for it but Goodwin and Martin was like meh and he was heated as fukk

It's not one of his best. The camera moves are cool but then become way too silly lol.

Surprised to see it never got a blu-ray release. Just peeped Stuckmanns review on youtube and he said it paid too much homage to panic room down to the white dude with cornrows like jared leto and the end title sequence

The reason they rob his house is because he's sitting on a fortune as part of a settlement for this rich girl running over his daughter. Turns out the rich girl is captive in his house pregnant with his baby through artificial insinuation by way of turkey baster. It was his way of saying she can be forgiven and pay for her crime.
Once she's killed (by his gun) he tells the main female character that she will take her place and after 9 months she'll get her life back

I don't think it has the following to garner the money a blu ray would cost. It's the one really meh movie in fincher's catalogue

Director must have had a shot of crack before they made this movie
It's fine homie. Trust me the execution makes it plausible but i think my main issue as to why i didnt like it although i respect the hell out of it, is because it was building all of that tension to get to a certain place and then made this sharp ass turn to get to that twist
Fede Alvarez's style is definitely inspired by David Fincher.

The Blind Man is holding a woman (who killed his daughter in a hit-and-run and didn't go to jail) captive in his basement
The reason The Blind Man was holding the woman captive was so he could inseminate her with his sperm so she'd give him a replacement daughter and since the main girl in the movie caused the woman to die The Blind Man decides to make her take the woman's place
The girl thought she killed The Blind Man when she escaped but he ends up not being dead and is being recognized as a hero for killing two burglars who broke into his house
When did it follows become the standard for thrillers/horror type films
