Yeah true but thats their opinion homie. It's the internet..the good and bad of it is that everyone has an opinion and everyone will share it no matter how much we fukkin try to ignore or avoid it. Shyt I agreed with a few articles I read about the witch and how some in the horror community received it but I also understood that people are entitled to like what they like and they're not going to suddenly like something or dislike something because they read 500 words telling them why they're wrong. I told you before but if it bugs you that much homie, make a wordpress blog, start reviewing flicks and get your opinion out there for the world to see. That way you get to use a worldwide platform to tell everyone else another side to it and be a consenting voice. Not all critics loved the witch nor did all of them love don't breathe.

I read a review on Collider that was more in line with my feelings on Don't breathe and homie gave it a C, which is probably what I'd give it if someone like @FlyRy forced me to give it a grade (which he's done in the past lol) but as a writer who does get paid to give his opinion on hip hop shyt, my advice would be just not to take it personally when cats disagree with you or tell you what you should be doing. The stuff I write has so much smart ass and irreverence in it that I'm sure there are plenty of people who disagree with me but...I just don't care:yeshrug:
Lol I fear if I write reviews I'll be having people on a message board like fukk that guy probably getting paid by the studio to like crap movies like criminal :lolbron::russ::russ:. You know what really made me start wanting to choke critics was gravity and inception

But my issue isn't necessarily the bad reviews it's piling on and unprofessionalism of some of the reviewers . You think SS is edited poorly or B vs S is too dark meh whatever . But some of the reviews were like just slams sessions ( from professional reviewers ) and people clearly trying to get buzz. And to add on a lot of GB reviews sounded like suicide squad reviews but were "positive " suspiciously . It just seems like some reviewers are tired of looking at fan boy stuff and wasn't feeling a genre movie should be anything but light hearted fluff .
Marvel can get a million good reviews but no one is saying hey give Evans a Oscar nod for his amazing portrayal of a character who has no business being more entertaining than RDJ's flashier performance and that frustrates me .

I feel that but the thing is, criticism doesn't go by the same rules as hard journalism. We learned that early in school. Very early. I tried to write with more of my voice and opinion on something and my professor smacked that shyt down with the quickness and told me I needed to earn that right. That's the beauty of critical thinking or opinion based writing: you get to say what you want and how you want. People can either fukk with it or not but its always you and your opinion and you gotta stand by that shyt.

This was pretty good but not worth the hype that a few cats were giving it. It's a good watch with your lady on a Friday or Saturday night and the "twist" was ok but it wasn't that surprising either. Cant say it was a bad movie though just don't think I would have worried about seeing it if the old lady didn't want to go.

Solid movie but cats are hyping this up something awful. Just a sign of how trash the current state of movies are.

i feel like the turkey baster scene was a bit much :skip: then when bruh had to deep throat his own baby batter :skip: i almost pulled a @track 1 and walked out
The whole girl in the basement thing was out of left field, but I guess they had to do something to make root for the female lead

The ending still pisses me off
