It's not a normal time at all for wrestling, we're literally talking about 9pm central time which isn't that late at all especially consider the fact that other shows on cable still get 1M+ viewers in those slots. For all the hype around Punks return, the majority of people would have rather watched it on social than live.

Not to mention the fact that he was on at the top of the hour, so they could have easily dipped out after he left. Those ratings aren't that good with how much people hyped his return.

I stand by what I said and what I said actually wasn’t bad or negative at all. People made it that way and took offense to it like I was throwing shots at the company or Punk, which I wasn’t. That online viewership means nothing if those fans don’t stick around after Punk is gone. That’s a fact and we see it all the time in one week pops that don’t have longevity.

No one is arguing about the time slot. We’re pointing out how WELL they did during the time slot on THAT SPECIFIC DAY.

The only thing that really matters when it comes to Rampage's ratings is that Rampage has been #3 and #2 for all of cable in the two weeks it has been in existence in a time slot where TNT previously wouldn't even register in the Top 150 cable show ratings numbers.

So the show is a resounding success and anyone trying say it isn't is not dealing with reality.

Let’s all just hope and pray that AEW doesn’t fukk this up lol. They gotta be very careful on how they handle this going forward but they got all the momentum in pro wrestling right now.
