One thing I will say is the game has become too homogenized, teams don't really have a specific identity. Every team wants to play fast, get downhill and get transition buckets whether that be at the rim or 3pt line. Teams have realized 3 is worth way more than 2 so they've simply built their teams around 3 pt shooting, which I get because they are r to win, damn if it looks good. But that's the only problem, is that it by and large doesn't look good, I can't blame people for tuning out of straight up 3pt competitions. We also may be past the point of offensive players getting the benefit of the doubt ie: traveling, carrying, offensive fouls not being called, that shyt is straight up frustrating for the viewer. I'm a bball head so I'll keep up with the game to an extent (especially once 2025 rolls around) but these would be complaints from the perspective of someone who might be a casual viewer.
